What happened to CASHGOPHER?

Friends, this morning, October 2, 2010 I checked for earning there,
I saw the following message: 
Server Error in '/' Application. Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types.

I am sure this due to server, but still afraid this site may vanish like other sites in net? Because it is from My Lot I trust this site. Did you receive this kind of message? Should we trust and continue here or not? Share your views please.

Don't worry. If you don't know, CashGopher is owned by myLot.
So if CP si gone, myLot has also long tiem gone :p
The website having problem. So it will be just for a little while more before it get back up :)

Cashgopher is being update the system, as you can see on the registration page, more items for registration.
On the registration page, if you use IE, when will be closed is still an error.

@siddhu236 - I think you read it wrong. You have to achieve 500 posts before you are allowed to cut & paste on myLot. If you remain steadily active, you will be there before you know it!!!

hi professo I did not install the software for cash Gopher as I did not
want to share my computer with a bunch of spyware just to make a few
pennies. I do not feel comfortable with foreign software on my
computer watching me do online banking and other tyoes of useage . so to me an abuse of private usage. so a I am not a happy camper in regards to cash cow f

You have completely misunderstood what CashGopher does, Hatley. It emphatically doesn't have or employ ANY kind of spyware and nor can it 'watch you do online banking'!
However, whether or not you use it is your decision.

Im there with Hatley I do not feel comfy with any foreign software on my computer...there is not way to know if we are been spy on or not as a far as I Am concerned we all ready have put ourselves out there with enought info for any one to know who we are where we live and so on...I mean we did not realized this when we joined the world wide web...hey what a catch! the powers in our world got all the info they need they now can position us any where we are nice move! in the future there won't be any where to hide! [I will make a post about this]but for now I like you to know I Am not been paranoid just careful.

Well, earlier I tried to check in on what I've been able to earn so far and I couldn't even get to the cash gopher home page. However, I just checked again and I got to home page with no problems and I was also able to see my earnings thus far this month as well. However, I'm starting to think that if I am ever going to be able to make payout with them I will have to install it on my husband's computer and maybe even my brother's machine.

I uninstalled it a while back
But I guess it is a Server Problem, like with most new Sites
It is all trial and error I remember when Mylot very first started it had a lot of Problems but it is still here to this Day
All Sites that are new have teething Problems so I think you might find that is what it is

I have had no problems with Cash Gopher. I just checked my earning and was able to see both September and Part October earnings.

i do not received such info or messages fror cashgopher. Yet one thing i saw yesterday or last day when i checked my earnings, unfortunately i got zero. I dont know what is the problem, i am still going to use it. Maybe i should work on the referral thing. But one thing, i could only refer it when i am sure already it would really work.

It is fine now. i was able to check my september earnings and this month too. i just have a question if i can download the it again here in my laptop? since i am in the US now can i do it with my laptop? the first time i downloaded it was last month in one of our computers in the philippines. thanks.

Well I am sure that it's nothing to worry about really and that it is getting updated and it will b up and running in no time at all just be patient and you will see that in due time it will be up and running again since it is run by mylot I am sure that it is good and that it will not disappoint you.

I checked about an hour ago and everything back and running again. They do not say in their forum as to what the problem was so let's hope what ever it was that they fix and never happens again.
They sure do not provide any feedback on their site, which is why so many members have negative feelings about it. I will continue to allow it to run as so far I personally have no complaints.

that's and error in the server to you computer it happens on everysite that's online try using a different computer

I think it is just an error in the code as the month has changed for the first time - Sept to Oct. They will sort it out.
There is so much rubbish written here about the program by people who struggle to understand what Cashgopher is all about.
I will just wait till it is going again.

I decided to stop using this altogether as it was causing some problems to my webbrowser when I was accessing certain websites. I have no idea what that error is though. Cash Gopher is probably still in its early stages so the team are probably still working on it and making adjustments, improving things and so forth. It's a personal choice of mine though that I won't be going back to using Cash Gopher on my pc.
I do admire the My Lot team for coming up with the idea though and I really think that the My Lot team are trustworthy. I think that I will just concentrate my efforts on My Lot and My Lot alone. Anyway, good luck! You should keep monitoring it as I'm sure that things will improve. Andrew

Well at least we know it isn't our systems that is causing the problem since many are experiencing the same error message.
All we can do now is be patient and wait to see if they are able to fix this.
I hope they are able to fix the problem soon.

Yeah I'm getting this problem too. I think it should all be fixed soon, but I don't know if this will affect our earnings or referral earnings or anything like that. I hope it doesn't just not count our earnings because of this.
On the positive side though, perhaps Cash Gopher will give us double earnings for a day for the inconvenience or something. I know they do that kind of thing with linkbucks and adf.ly too I think.

I also encountered that problem yours just this morning. I also wanted to check my earnings but several attempts of opening it, the message is still the same.
