Ever been where space was too tight?

We went to a wedding today. The pride was beautiful; the groom was hansome. Everything was wonderful until the seating at the reception. It was way too tight in there. If I wanted to go anywhere, everyone had to stand up in a row of seats. It wasn't as bad as one place I went to years ago for another wedding, but it was pretty tight. We went home early, mostly because it was sooo damp and cool today. The wedding was outdoors. The reception was indoors, but felt like we were outdoors. So have you ever been anywhere where it was really, really tight for space? Did you stay or go home early? Do you like tight crowds? I told my husband that while I felt badly that half the people didn't show up during my wedding, I'm kind of glad they didn't for the reception because it might have been too tight, too. We had plenty of room.

sounds like someone didn't do their planning. I have been to parties and such where there was very little room. So many people. And at concerts too. I don't go to such places anymore because of my social anxiety.

We have very few places for receptions here. When you call and say, "Can you handle ____# of people?" They often say yes because they want the money.

yes, in cinema ^^ It's horrible. But yeah, in cinema, I just see the movie until the end, wait for everyone to get out, and then I get out. In weddings? I would have gotten home .

Well, we needed to stay at the reception long enough to be social. He never sees his relatives.
