I had sleepless nights and I wanted to sleep by day but no matter silence in my room I still can't sleep. My eyes are sleepy and If I close my eyes and force to sleep, my eyes are close but my mind is awake. I can't have a good sleep, what should I do.

try drinking hot glass of milk it can help you fall asleep faster. I haven't tried taking sleeping pills I 'm scared of it. Maybe after dinner do an exercise it can help you breath easily and might be good for insomnia. Maybe is it related to your work. Do you work at night? Better consult a doctor for proper advice. Sleeping at day does not give the right amount of rest to our body unlike sleeping at night. At night our body produces more blood that at day time. Because of the automatic timer of the body (it recognizes if it is time for rest or work). Try do do something to your condition lack of sleep at night can cause different ailments. Finally avoid thinking too much, it can be stress related.

I took this from a book 1. Avoid watching television in the bedroom Beds should be used not to watch television. Research has shown that people who experience frequent disturbance sleep have a television in the room. 2. Try a new pillow or mattress Is the mattress supports your body correctly, so you do not feel pain back when i wake up? If not, replace the pillow that feels more fresh and new. 3. Avoid caffeine in the afternoon and evening Be aware that caffeine is 10 to 12 hours before bedtime can cause difficulties sleep. Try to avoid tea, soda, chocolate in order to sleep more soundly. 4. Listen to relaxing music Familiarize yourself listening to relaxing music can make the body's signal to preparing to sleep. Dim the lights and play jazz music or relaxation CD for get a good night's sleep. 5. Try mind and body techniques Try to calm the mind and body by creating rituals such as bathing, meditation, and doing yoga poses for relaxation and calm. Repetition of the ritual would triggers the mind and body that it was time to relax and sleep. 6. Try a natural sleep medicine You could try chamomile flower tea before bed or sipping fragrant oils lavender essential to calm the mind, making it easier to fall asleep. hopefully help

I sometimes have that problem and found that it was because i was stressing over things. Once i was relaxed completely i was able to sleep again.

How about... try reading your way to sleepiness? Refrain from coffee or liquids before you sleep. Refrain from sweets before you sleep.

Have you been living on your bed? What I mean is, have you been doing a lot of stuff other than sleeping on your bed? For example, eating on your bed or using the computer perhaps? From what a lecturer once said, doing a lot of things on your bed may lead you to become sleepless. If you do, once you lie down, a lot of things would come to your mind like your work or whatever. It is suggested that your bed be used solely for sleeping. On the other hand, if you douse your bed only for sleeping, then you must be stressed out. Try getting a massage and listen to classical music. Or you could pick out the most boring book you have and read it.
