Do you go shopping on "Black Friday?"

Well, the season is upon us. Thanksgiving is almost here and we all know what that means, Christmas Shopping. Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving is traditionally the biggest shopping day of the year. Do you go out and deal with all the crowds to get those great deals? If so, whats your routine? Are you one that waits outside a store to run in as soon as they open and get the deals or do you wait until later and some of the crowds are gone?

I don't go where there is going to be crowds. I have social anxiety and it is no fun. I do my shopping online alot and occasionally go to Walmart or Kmart. I also try to do some shopping in the summer whenever there are sails. I get other things online and pick it up at the store which works nicely for me.

I have that too. Holiday shopping gives me sudden mood swings and panic attacks. It is really horrible.

It is. And hits without real notice.

I have went to Black Friday in the past but the people are awful. They run into you with their carts, take things out of your carts, and are just plain rude. It makes me wonder if any deals that day are worth it. I have stayed home the past couple years because I just don't have the patience for all those people anymore. When I did go I was there waiting so I could try and get what I want and get out.

Yeah I'm with you. I only went one time early in the morning and it was just insane. I'm going to try not to make that mistake again. Thanks for responding.

We don't have that here in Canada. I think the craziest day is Boxing Day, when everything that didn't get sold for Christmas is heavily discounted. Many stores do not allow returns of any kind for the week after Christmas because with all the rush, they don't have the staff to process them!
