We eat a lot of chicken in my house we eat it baked, barbque, roasted, broilded ,boiled etc.. I decided to look for some new ways to prepare it instead of the same ways..maybe some new and different spices for a new twist. It seems like most people put chicken and rice together as a meal but that gets kinda old after a while but I understand how easy it is to put rice as the side dish they go so well together ,theres stuffing and mashed potatoes but I'm trying to think of something else that would go along with it how do you prepare your chicken dishes at home?

Chicken Adobo is the best.Oranged chicken. Chicken with tomato sauce. Chicken with lemon sauce. Baked chicken with cream of mushroom. Instead of having rice or potatoes try couscous.

Hi Angelic I have the name Couscous before but I don't know what it is exactly I do love Orange Chicken we usually get it from the local Chines Restaurant down the street I try not to eat to much of it since it is fried (at least thats how they prepare it) orange flavor and chicken do go really well together Thanks for your suggestion

couscous is like grains... ask your local produce store if they have it. It is better than rice because it got plenty of fiber. Yup orange chicken is not so good for health. It is fried and with plenty of sugars.

How about some pine apple chicken bbq? The usual chicken marinade then serve with pineapple bits and while you grill the chicken you put some marinade and pineapple sauce on it.

We put vinegar and soy sauce with chicken and let it boil. The flavor then seeps through the chicken then it will have a delicious flavor.

Hi Roncat I've never tried vinegar thats something new I have done the soy sauce thing though it does taste pretty good but soy sauce is just a might bit to salty for me I do like it on rice I do like boiled chicken it gets a lot of the fat out of the chicken during this process and it still tastes pretty good Thanks for sharing

we do a stir fry and cook ramen noodles to go with it. also, we sometimes cook a winter squash, like acorn or butternut, and eat that with it.

Hi. Cherryd41. I think that chicken and pasta taste really good. With a creamy sauce that will be yummy. You can try mixing in some vegetables of your choice too.

Check this out Cherryd41! (4 person recipe from my mom) Take chicken fillet (1kg) and cut it in small pieces and put it into the pan with a small amount of oil (40gr) and water (100gr) let it cooked until it gets soft brown (like almost ready to eat). Then add two big choped onions, garlic, 2 big choped tomato and vinegar (40gr), and one chopped green peper and salt. Let the vegetables and chicken be cooked until you feel it is ready. The result should be creamy. It goes well with boiled rice, spaghetti, bread, fried potatoes or just a salad.. you decide.

Wow! you are an adventurous cook. I like the idea.Sometimes when we ate same menu then we get bored so let's experiment. but I wonder how to make a new one different from the routine. At home we liked the old menus such as barbecue, menudo, roasted and boiled. To make it a little different I put some side dishes... sweet sauce for children spicy one for adults plus bist of vegetable varieties on top.

You can try making a chickpea and tuna salad to go with chicken. It's healthy and tasty!
