I dont write much but people say i have talent for it. Today I'm writing my second post or discussion. I got all inspired most of the day thinking about a lot of things. A couple of hours ago got online, put music on and opened mylot and start looking for topics to write on. Couldn't decide on one so opened a blank box in a random interest but left it blank. So started looking at other peoples discussions and commented on some of them. That was kind of easier but now its my turn and like always find it hard to share what i think like this. Its like having a lot to say but not wanting to say anything. But still enjoyed the discussions of the people i read and enjoyed giving my opinion so its all good. Plus the music is great lol.

Mee too. Sometimes I want to write down my comment about something, but all my thought had been written by another person hahaha... Another time I feel that I want to write something, but my idea seem unqualified to read by others so I canceled it. Or one time I feel one of the title interesting, but after I open the page, the writing so long and make me think "Wow, its to long, I better look for the shorter one" hahahaha But even I don't write anything to comment an issue, I still open Mylot everyday because I enjoy every discussion here. Happy Mylotting !! (^_^)v

If u see what you think written by someone else then just comment on it, there's always something they haven't said yet :). Also i try to read something that i find interesting but not something to distracting cause then i wont write anything lol. If it cuts you're inspiration or the will to write then is a no no lol read it after you wrote what u wanted :). I have a lot of "unqualified" stuff being "unqualified" is my nature lol Well I'm lazy also but if its something that i find interesting i read it if its to much then i speed read. Just look at the words as fast as i can and jump some small parts and then reconstruct it in my mind lol. Sometimes that's fun cause if you read it again sometimes it has nothing to do with what u think lmao! But i got better at it so that doesn't happen often. Thanx :)

Sometimes its just hard to express one's feelings. Its just we think that if we do this or that that we would get judge by other people. that is why I envy people who can speak their minds. And those people are the one's successful.

At least me i dont really care about what people think, if i can make someone laugh believe me ill get silly or just say something dumb to make someone laugh. I dont care if people judge me or not besides i am who i am and i know who i am cause of my actions and what people and i see. So even judging is welcome. Does a tree that falls on a forest with no one to hear makes a sound? I make sound cause someone is there to hear so if someone has some critics or judges me i hear what is it and keep going. :)

That is common. I do have dry spells with writing as well even if I've been doing this for a long while now. You see, when you start topics, it's not just copying what other people are saying, you're actually sharing your life's questions and thoughts with other people and waiting for them to react or share theirs. This is why I don't often open topics myself. I'm just not good at inventing something that I haven't experienced or talking about something that doesn't fully interest me. I am the type of person who reacts or response. I find it easier because there's already a ground topic to talk about. One way that I usually do to open topics is by simply noticing what has transpired during my day out or day at work. Whatever 'interesting' thing that happened - be it a joke told to me by someone, or something that I want to share with friends with, I usually list them down. Then, when I have time to do mylot, I open those topics here. Dont' worry about it, you'll get the hang of it soon. Just don't force it when ideas don't come. Go to other sites, do something else, then when you're inspired to write once again, then come back. Good luck! And welcome to mylot!

Hello, This is a typical problem with introverts. Also this has something to do with your memory. We all have a limited capacity of memory. So we can't always rely on that. Whenever you think about something to talk about, just write it down in a few lines. Use your notebook. Also devote a particular time of the day to write down all your emotions, complains, opinions, anger, sadness etc. Just write them down without worrying about literature. This will release extra burden from your memory. You'll also find it easier to have conversations or to participate in discussions. It will simply make you more efficient in real life. Thanks. God bless you.

Well cant say you're wrong cause that's part of it. Sometimes is the how to write it that gets me stuck, but mainly is a trust issue. I dont like giving personal info on myself to anyone but the thing is that when its personal it really comes out great lol. Thanx for the tip :)

I'm just like that too when I want to start a new post or discussion. At the end of the day, I only start a new post like once a week. But to be honest, I seem to enjoy more in Participating in other people's discussion. I love reading different views on someone else's post. Good to hear that you are enjoying giving out your opinion too :)

I have a blog. I write just for fun. It's funny, relevant, and a bit narcissistic. A lot of people think I'd make a great writer - the kind that publishes novels or short stories. I don't think so. It's mostly because I write for myself, not for an audience - which I know is kind of useless. But it makes me happy. I wouldn't want to work in a magazine, newspaper, or any place that requires me to submit written work on time.

Well I'm kind of the same i used to have a notebook were i write stuff but it got seen by my mom and some of my girlfriends and that kind of took the fun out of it. But I still write for myself when i get the chance is like thoughts printed on paper that's why its so hard to write here cause i cant help doing that lol. I am a pretty reserved person dont like people seeing my thoughts but sometimes i get around to sharing so i hope soon ill write some enjoyable stuff lmao. thanx for writing and keep doing what u do someday you'll find a way to use it.

Even if you don't have a talent for mylot you can still start and respond to disscussions. I don't start discussions. I did at the start and started 10 but then just stuck to responded because other peoples discussions are far more interesting and I prefer responding.
