I thought i was hacked or something, but i ended up realizing that it was just me forgetting my password,,, -.- Good thing that word popped out of nowhere and there you go, i remembered my password (me and my bro were talking when he happen to mention my password - a blessing in disguise, i guess) ,i don't know if im being overly forgetful or im just being normal, but i guess, having different passwords is difficult indeed,,, ^^ I've been inactive here at mylot for almost a month or so just because of my rusty brain as i may say, so, do you ever forget your password or something?

ahahha i can totatly relate tp that. however, to make me rember my password, i have an email account where i only use for verification check. my passwords, email addresses are safely kept and tadaaaa...password problem solved! i suggest you do that to. make a folder for all the verifications that you do, so in time when you for get any password, just look in to that folder and you'll be good in seconds! happy mylotting and God bless!^^

Agree, and take a handy notebook with you where categorizing differen types of password on it would help to solve your problem.

hehe. YUP! when I was in college. So what I did was write all my password and secure it with a password that I will never forget. I even forget my pin couple of times So I often asks the teller to replace my atm card and ended paying for replacement.

ooops, atm pin,, ^^ that also, i put my pin at the back of the card, which is not right, because its advantageous to the thief,,, ^^

Yeah, I have forgotten my password. It happens to me sometimes. And then I will try somewords that I may use as a password. It's not good to forget it, because it might be an important one. Fortunately, many websites nowadays will help you find out what your password is in case you forget it. That's nice.

I forgot my password many times just because I was thinking about other things while signing in lol. Because I also have this habit of saving my password with the browser so whenever I delete all the history and cookies in my laptop, I will start having a trouble for remembering all my password back.

I forget my passwords or logins all the time an it drives me nuts if its not one its the other lol. I have started to keep them in a notebook next to my computer so that they are close by when i need them. Its been helping me so far, that might be a good thing to try? All the best for the future with your passwords.

Yes I have forgoten my pass word more than a few times. this is true on sites that I do not frequent that much. There is so much on the web thiese days that it is hard to keep track of and diffecult to rember. I keep my user names and pass words in a log book that I keep secret. if I do forget I simply change it or reset it.

Hi merraine Just like you I do forget my password all the time! Especially if I wasn't using it all the time, like for a month or two. That's why I keep a piece of paper and write down every account and password that I used. Just to keep it in mind and avoid forgetting it. Happy mylotting :)

many times but it gets easyer if you set passwords that have a common things so that you wont forget
• Philippines
7 Oct 10
common thing, you mean, something that means a lot to me? ^^
• United States

yes but only put part of it
• Philippines
12 Oct 10
Yes, most of the time. But now, I learned a lot. I save it in microsoft excel so that if I forgot again, I can easily trace it back. And I used only 1 password so I won't forget it anymore. And sometime I will tell my wife what is my password so that I can ask her too.

I have forgotten my password before and I usually have passwords that are still related to each other. Like, one password is a word, I'll just add some suffixes to have another password and so on to make multiple passwords. Quite tricky sometimes, especially when I need to put a number since some passwords need to be alphanumeric
@ratyz5 (7808)
• Philippines
7 Oct 10
There are still some that do that so, most often, alphanumeric passwords would be birth dates or any date that the user might think to be very significant enough for them to remember as their password.. (^_^")
• Philippines
6 Oct 10
alphanumeric is hard,,, but good thing there's no site that caters numeric passwords only,,, ^^

Actually, I always do forget my passwords. In fact, our network administrator said that I am weird since I always forget my computer password at the office. So I always ask her to log in to my computer as administrator and reset my password. One time, I forgot what my paypal password. I find it weird since I always open my account. Its just that day, I really could not remember it. But the following day, when I open the site, I entered my user name and password automatically and that's it. I also have this experience that I also forgot what my cellphone PIN is. I entered different combination which I really believe was the correct PIN. But I never got the right one so I stopped because If I continue, my SIM will be locked. I just woke up that time and decided to just leave my phone at home. When I came back and opened it, I entered the PIN as if I did not forget it at all. I really do not know what happened. Maybe because, sometimes, when we do things everyday, we no longer think about it, we just do it automatically without actually thinking. So what I did now is write it on my notebook at home.
