Do you frequently check your e-mail?

I think its best to check e-mail a couple of times a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. Unless of course I know that I am receiving an important e-mail, then I check it that often. Still, its best to check it at those times at the very least. How often do you check your e-mail? Looking forward to reading your responses.

That sounds like a good practice to make. Professional is over personal at all times when dealing with e-mails, for many I am sure. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I just verify my e-mail not even once / day and that`s because i don`t know that i will receive an important e-mail but since i`ve aplied to some jobs , i must say that i log in into my e-mail about 2 time / day because i really want to find out sooner that i will go to an interview and maybe to be hired .

sometimes i do, if it's about something important, but if it's about usual notifications and sites i visit, i usually just delete and go about my business.

I have three accounts: two on Gmail and one on Hotmail. The Gmail accounts are the most important so I have them on my Ipod. It's very easy to check because you touch the Mail Button and I can read the e-mails; so I check them a lot of times every day. I check once a week, the Hotmail account.

When you have easy access, it is quite simple to get in touch with those accounts. That is handy to have a way to get a hold of your e-mails easily. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

E-mail can be packed even after a few hours on a busy day. Leaving it go for a day can be a problem. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I check five email addresses every day. I have to manage my emails through taking surveys, applying for magazine sweepstakes, games, and job searching. I also delete emails or empty spams that do not make sense.

I check my emails several times a day. I'm not sure why I check them so often as most of the time there is nothing important there anyways. I have one email that I use only for survey sites that I work on and for paypal. I then use an email just for mylot, that email address I don't check every day as I am not always able to find the time to work here, and I have a personal email account. I definitly check my personal email account several times a day incase one of my family members have sent me an email. I live far away from all of my family, except my adult daughter...we live together, so we email each other a lot. I look forward to talking to my sisters online by email. I do check my email account for surveys every day but usually only a couple times a day as most surveys are sent during business hours. I like to do my surveys as soon as I get them..or as quickly as possible, because the sooner you do them after they are mailed to you, the chance of qualifying is much greater. So I usually check in the morning before I get ready for work, I'm up for a couple hours before I need to get up, and if I have any to do I will do them. Then I definitly check in the evening after dinner and if I have any I do them then. Cheers my friend and happy mylotting, Chris

I check both of my main emails daily. I try to do this because if I don't, after a day or two... my email account will be flooded!!

I check my email most of the time like every 4 hours. But I do that when I'm at work. You'll never know when an important email will pass by Inbox. For personal emails, I just do it like you, once in the morning and once in the evening.

I check it frequently, everytime I'm using my computer. Some time ago, I set up the Outlook on automatic to watch over my GMail account, so simply forget about it. I start Outlook when I login on Windows, then a popup appears if I have a new mail. And that's all, an automatic check every minute by doing nothing. On the old times, when I don't had this, I usually checked once or twice a day only, and rarely got any mail (like now).
