Fraud at MyLot

you should report this. That's not fair to us. but we need some investigations to be sure. hhhmmm, good to know about this, I might as well make my own investigation to help you. but i don't whom to investigate...hehehe

The situation you speak of is not new around here. It's been going on for years with various users copying discussions/posts just to increase their earnings. I remember this happening shortly after I started here, and the one who was copying was the one who was banned for doing so. It may not be the same person with 2 accounts, but rather what I mentioned above where someone is copying another person's writing. And you can't say with conviction that the older user is the one who's doing the copying. If it's worth the time and effort to type it all out, then the newer user would be doing that and trying to earn more faster. I haven't seen this recently and I don't know who you're talking about, but definitely report it and it will be investigated. Someone will pay the price for cheating here as it's not tolerated whatsoever. If this becomes a frequent issue, myLot may only allow one account per IP, which I thought was already commonplace, as it is with a lot of other websites. They will get to the bottom of it and rectify the situation quickly.

Hello Sweet_Pea, I have once busted some one who's using two mylot accounts.this is what i like about this site, people knew it right away if there is something wrong here. i think the guidelines tells us specifically to report (!) it directly to the admin so that they can figure this out in no time. This has been my concern over the past few years being here. I believe mylot should finally have it's ONE person IP address rule. because there is a rule that if two or more people using one computer, the person got to inform in his/her account who is this person with him/her using one computer. now, that is a disadvantage. thank you for letting us know about this. I agree with what many others have said here - it most likely is not one user with multiple accounts (although it could be I suppose), because a user with multiple accounts would be more careful about not posting copied content, in my opinion, especially not content that was copied directly from their other account as that would draw too much attention to both accounts. However, it is more likely that it is a user trying to make money quickly and not caring whether or not what they are doing is right or wrong.

We can't jump into conclusions. Like what other mylotters said, it might be that the other one is just copying the post of the other person. And what is wrong with having multiple accounts if you have a lot of computers in your house right. God bless everyone.

Using two account with a same identity will lead you to get banned. But using the same IP as long as it didn't OL at the same time it's allowed.Maybe it was a same person, but as long as it use different identity.I believe it will allowed. For copy paste from others comment, better to report it.Let the admin who deal with.

before reprting you should do further inquiry.it may be a case of mistaken identity.

I think the admin will notice this discussion and will find out if those two persons are same or not. But i have a doubt in my mind that if he has made 3000 posts then he should be aware of the rule that the duplicate posts gets deleted and then he cant make that mistake of making his response going in vain, i think the other person with 200 posts is just a copycat.
