mylot is slower than other websites. What do you think?

I just observed that some other sites I open alongside mylot loads faster. Do you experience the same?

sometimes but it's the only site i visit that uses a database but it loads faster than face book with uses a database so it's the kind of site.

Okay. It's the other way around with mine. It is facebook that loads faster than mylot. :)

It could probably due to your Internet connection, and the hops that the data from myLot has to make. At this moment I am not experiencing any lag or slowness.
Delays in data transfer do happen from time to time. Usually it is due to a high traffic from the same area to the same website, and vice versa. The second probable reason is some problem with at least one of the hop points. The third reason is a disruption in the physical connection, such as a result of an earthquake.

Do you work on network systems? You seem to have good knowledge on networks :)
I guess it's because there are many users from the Philippines.

I usually leave only a few windows open when I browse the net. It is just mylot that loads slower compared to other sites I open.

I only started coming on here more last week but so far I haven't noticed it being slow. I've had issues with Sidetick not loading and RedGage seems to be plotting to drive me mad so I'm not bothering with that place anymore since it just won't work for me but no problems here.
