1333 Mhz RAM only working at 16 MHZ...

I have 2x 1333 mhz 2gb RAMs installed on my pc. My motherboard is ASUS M4A78LT-M LE. When i used cpu-z to view info about my pc hardware i found that the RAM in the second slot of my motherboard is running at 16 Mhz instead of 1333 Mhz.. The RAM in the first slot is working fine. Whats the problem with my RAM?

cpu-z shows the resources which are being used at the point of time. remember that the system resource are not utilized totally until there are needed. in your case, what ever application or programs you are running, system need only certain protion of cpu (16Mhz) and certain ram.

but when my friends who have 2x 2 gb RAMs usd cpu-z they were able to see that both of the rams are running at 1333 mhz.
