A Question About Associated Content

I want to write an article about why you should keep a weight loss blog to help with your weight loss goals. My question is can I include a link to my own weight loss blog or is this against Associated Content rules? Thank You!

Hi marcialoyd - Most article sites frown upon links of any sort being included in the article submitted to them for publishing. At the same time, I have observed that writers are able to put links to other articles which may provide more information about the topic. Hence, if you intend to put links, it should be in the right context and should not look like you are soliciting traffic to your own site or blog. I shall send you a friend's request - please feel free to send me a message if you need any help with article sites.

Sorry, no. You can't link to anything like that. You're not allowed to promote your own site, blog, or referrals. If anyone see it and reports it, the article will be deleted.

I have done it before, but just a subtle link to my ballparks road trip blog when I was writing an article about the best baseball museums. I think it is only against the rules when you are obviously writing the article just to get people to go to your site. Sounds like you are not writing the article for that purpose and the link will be in context as further info and they really have been into having more links in the articles lately.
