Are you afraid in the dark? Why?
For me I never afraid in the dark if you tell there is a ghost or something like that, white ladies or whatever. I afraid in the dark if know the place is not safe and there always an incident of crime happen in that place. How about you? Are you afraid in the dark?

Hi!
I've never been afraid of the dark like you. I love dark places specially when the beauty of the sky is very obvious/clear. I love dark places in a way that i can relax my mind and my body through my eyes because it saw minimal things. Dark is good especially when you are with your boyfriend/girlfriend. I think all of us can relate. ha ha ha !

Kind of.
For most of us, our eyes are not suitable for the dark. When we cannot seeing things, we may feel a little afraid and have no confidence. What's more, people may think about horrible things in the dark, due to the imagination, and I'm one of them. I don't think there is a ghost or something like that exist. But, in the dark you may be afraid to meeting them...

Dear friend,
Yes at times if the place I am in is not secure. As during dark it is difficult to see what all things are there, moreover if it is outside it is bit difficult know the area. If I could see in dark there is not much difficulties. Moreover if that is secure not much to afraid of dark.

yes, security in our lives is very important. It's hard to risk ourselves to go in the dark place. Which is we getting hard to see whats going on in that place. Be safe.

That would depend. If I am at home and sleeping, I don't mind to switch off the lights. I need total darkness to sleep. But if I were outside, I would definitely freak out. I am more scared of human than ghost. Ghost don't exist, bad guy does. It's not a safe place for a lady to be alone outside in the dark. Lots of things could happen.

I think we all are afraid of dark not because there may be a ghost but because there may be some animal or thief hiding in the dark. Most accidents happen in dark, so yes I am afraid of dark. I would never take a stroll in the early morning when its dark or goto some lonely dark place. Lord is watching over us all the time but he warns us to be cautious and remain safe.

Agree, thief or we call it bad boys are only hiding in the dark place. Which is we are not aware of it. I afraid also to go in the dark knowing there is a lot of wild animals and our lives is at risk.

Hello.
No, i not affraid of the dark even one of my favorite songs is "Fear of the dark" to Iron Maiden. Dont wonder many people was scared in the dark as children, so that fear stay when thay grow up. As you know most of kids think there in the dark hide monster or ghost. :)

What's really your question? Are we afraid of the dark per se, or afraid of dark places? I'm not afraid of the dark. What I'm afraid of are the countless possible things that darkness could mean. I'm also afraid of the things I can't perceive and things I don't know about.
With regard to dark places, no I'm not afraid of dark places, but sometimes my imagination gets the better of me. 
I also avoid dark alleyways and streets just to be safe.

being fearless or scared is basically depends on ones
state of mind...it has verry little to do with darkness
or broad day light.
however me too feel scared in dakkness due to impaired
visibility...certainly not by the ghosts.

Not really scared of the dark because ghosts exist in a way that is not threatening (for me)...
