Mount Merapi in Yogyakarta, it is stated in the standby condition. Preparations for the evacuation has been provided. I live near Mount Merapi. But I was lucky, if the impact of the eruption of Mount Merapi would not be arrived at my house. The area around my house, used to create displacement. Even so, I am a little worried, if Mount Merapi erupts.

Evacuation sounds scarey. In alot of areas they keep pretty close tabs on things so they can get people evacated in time. I think that is great. I wish this area well and hope they everyone out. I also hope that the eruption isn't too bad and that everything goes okay.

This is one reason I am so glad that they have started keeping records and can tell when there be an eruption. I am sure this saves alot of lives.

Oh how fascinating and frightening to live so close to a volcano! I've always wanted to see an active one. Closest I've ever been was skirting around the Cascade range and even seeing Mt. St. Helena (post eruption)

why don't you evacuate? you never know what could happen. if you are worried, don't let it come to you. volcano can cause really deadly complications.in floods you can still hang on the roof but if this is Lava you could suffocate from the Heat. it's better to be prepared than too late. if you live there i suggest you evacuate too. your life is more important than anything.
