NHL Season 2010/11 starts tomorrow

After a very hot summer I can't wait to watch the first games of the season.
What are your favorites for this year? My favorites are Washington, Pittsburg, Chicago and Vancouver.
And I hope the Leafs get at least close to the playoffs... Well, you should never stop dreaming.
And as a Swiss born I really hope Nino Niederreiter from the NY Islanders has a nice rookie season. Switzerland could use a NHL proofed forward.

Bless you! You mentioned my home team first , The Caps. I would love , love to see Ovie Hoist the Cup. I follow my heart , not my head when it comes to hockey! So, I would love to see a rematch bwtween the Wings and The Caos but this time the Caps sweep!If you are going to dream , dream big!

Hey at least you guys have Roger Federer.
Now on to Hockey...can't wait for the season to start, it's been an especially long off season this year since my team got bounced in the second round.
Who is my team you ask? Well I'm glad you asked..the big Red Machine...Detroit!
Hopefully the duck tape with hold this year and we have a few less injuries!

Well, normally the Red Wings are a playoff team. Didn't work out last season but they have at least a good chance when they reach the playoffs.
Do you think Detroit is stronger this season?
I'm personally disappointed with the trades in Toronto during the summer. Except Kessel nobody will score enough points to be succesfull.
