The Best Seasoning For Roast Chicken?

One of my favourite food is roast chicken. I try out lots of different combinations of herbs and spices on my roast chicken...my favourite at the moment is dried mint leaves chopped and spread over the top. Nomnom! Does anyone have any other recommendations of herbs and spices i could season my lovely roast chicken with?

I think the pepper and salt are already good enough for the roasted chicken. The simple is the best:) I love China
