With torrents and easy downloads, do you still watch movies the "old-fashioned" way?

I used to go to movie theatres before, but now very seldom. I don't have the time to spend at the thatres. So, once in a while, I rent DVDs and watch movies of my choice. That has become one of my favorite ways of relaxation at home over the weekends.

Hi Christinelle I still like going to the movies I don't go as often as I used to but I'm going to start going more often also I like to rent DVD's as well when the weather is bad outside for me renting is better than going out to the movies now that so many homes have big screen televisions it makes it easier to stay home and watch a movie especially now since they have BLU-RAY

I do watch some movie on youtube, but mostly we rent, borrow or go to the theater. Going out is fun, in fact we even went more "Old Fashioned" this summer and went to a drive-in, Now that was fun!!!!

I love movies and I love going to the theater to watch them. I also rent, and sometimes buy, DVDs especially those old movies that I haven't watched or would like to watch again. Watching DVD movies at home is one good way to bond with your loved ones and friends, especially if you have a big-screened TV! ^_^

I like to going to the movietheater. But I don't have time to do it due to my work. So I prefer to download torrents.

I do still buy DVDs and will occasionally go to the movie theaters from time to time. I can't do this very often, as money is very tight. But when I can, I try to do so.

I don't consider buying and renting movies old fashioned in comparison with "torrents and easy downloads". A large number of those sites you download movies from are illegal. To me, that's more an issue of integrity than money. If I can't afford to buy or rent something, I'm probably not going to go get it at all, so they're never going to end up with my money. But still, it's dishonest and wrong to cheat the system like that. Even if I did go to a legal site, I'm not sure I like downloads and stuff like that. I like seeing movies on the big screen with all my friends, and I like having a tangible copy of a movie to hold in my hands and add to my collection.

I haven't gone to a movie theatre in years! Why??? The price is just way too high! And, most of the time, the price just isn't worth the garbage they peddle as movies these days! I used to work at a Blockbuster and got to take home as many as I wanted. Those were the days! I did Netflix for a while because it was just too convenient. Now I download what I want to watch. I've never gotten any viruses and I can watch whenever I want. I love the internet! lol.

I love going to the movie theaters and will always go to the movie theaters. Sadly I can't rent DVD's since they closed down Blockbuster near me. So instead I buy DVD's, but when they are on sale. Sometimes I watch movies on Youtube also, but mostly it's old movies that I watch on Youtube.
