It's the end of our summer starting in fall and I am missing the warm weather!

Boy I love those days where I can wear my shorts and sleeveless blouses. During the summer I have a nice tan all spring and summer then the fall comes and I see my tan fading away. I look real pale during the cooler months don't get much sun. I am dreading the cooler winter months. For several reasons. One I can't wear shorts that is all so comfortable. The work we do slows down to a crawl. The house needs insulation which we can't afford. The flowers die back and won't see that beauty till spring now. Several reasons to dread the winter months. Which season do you like the most? And why do you like that season so much? Is it spring summer winter or fall where you live? Are you ready for the next season to come? Or are you like me don't like the winter?......LOL

I take it you have distinct seasons where you are? In which case, I'm not surprised you dread winter which is my most hated season too, I have to say. My favourite? Spring! I love it when everything "springs" into life! I love all the new leaves appearing on the trees as they are an amazing shade of green then turn a bit darker during the summer. I love the spring flowers like daffodils that cheer everyone up with their yellow colour. There is nothing to like about winter. I can't see what's great about the cold and the fact our fuel bills are sky high. I do not want a repeat of last winter as it was colder than usual and we had snow for the first time in ages. The media went on and on as if it was the end of the world. They really did my head in..so, no, I don't like winter, I'm not looking forward to winter, but the added bonus of the last winter dragging on is that it's quite mild at the moment..in October! So I'm pleased about that!

Hi Janey. i love those daffodils and Irises I have an abundant of them. They are all over the yard. Going to try and get the flowers moved around this year though. We want to have several little flower and vegetable gardens all over the yard. Sounds like you hate winter as much as I do. It has been cool and now this week it is going to be in the 80's again. Hope the fuel bills don't go up this year too much. Thanks for sharing my friend.

Hello! It's not been as mild as we thought it was going to be today so it's a good job I took my jacket to the football earlier, otherwise I'd be freezing! We've had to put the heating on because I've suddenly "gone cold." Does that ever happen to you? My hands are like blocks of ice; very strange. Hopefully, I shall warm up soon enough. Mind you, I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about my "exploratory operation" on Monday so I guess I need to chill out in MyLot for a bit!

Hi Janey. What are they are they looking for do you know? Everything will come out good I know God will be watching over you Monday. I always leave my problems in Gods hands I know HE can do anything. I have always dreaded the winter months I guess I will always dread those cold months. Glad you took your jacket I can see that. It is a good time to think of the warmer clothing.

Hi Jugs. It has been so cold that I wonder why we haven't had snow yet. I hate the cold it makes me so so miserable that I can't stand it. I have too many aches and pains when I get cold. I hope we don't get snow. I can hardly wait till the spring comes back so our flowers will come up. Oh well maybe the cold won't last too long.
