working in a callcenter is tough. aside from the type of job, we cannot also choose our rest day of day off. because if i only the chance to choose on my rest day, i would really choose the saturday and sunday because thats the only time that my kids are at home. they will not go to school and we can bonding outside. unfortunately my REST DAY is Wednesday and Thursday. what about you? is your rest falls on a Saturday and Sunday?

Hi there! You're right, working in a call center is really tough. I also work in a call center company and luckily, I have the Sun-Mon off. For me, those are the best rest days for me for the reason that I could stay at home, relax with my family, watch movies and so on. While I can use Monday if I have important matters to do or process important papers because it's one of those business days. Well I also agree that you should have weekend rest days since you have kids and we would love to be with them. Anyways, I wish you the best!!

I agree with you bing, Saturday and Sunday are the ideal day offs especially for family oriented people. These are the days they could enjoy for they are free from school and office activities as well. But having offs during weekdays are of advantage as you stated. Since weekdays are the normal office days, that's our time to deal with other things that needs office assistance especially from government office. Be it weekdays or weekends, be grateful for these day offs for we can have time with the love ones and ourselves. Happy mylotting.

I've always had the weekend as rest days. But I won't mind having a midweek restday. Although the kids are off to school, it really gives me a real day of rest, as I could sleep in, and not worry about preparing and getting kids ready for something. Fortunately, I get every other Friday off. So, I get a little of that every two weeks.

I do get Saturdays and Sundays off. So, I keep on waiting for Friday, to enjoy the weekend. "Thank God it is Friday" type of joy ! From time to time, I get an extra day off. For that, if at all the company allows, I would take either the Friday or the Monday, so I can enjoy the long weekend !

My preference will be on a thursday.. haha =D Because it's in the middle of the week, it means i get a break every 3 days or so.. lol =D I dun like off days on a weekend because everywhere will be so crowded with people and families, with kids not schooling etc. It's too noisy for me.. haha =D I dun like mon or tues as well because it seems like a long week ahead before i get my next off day, if it happens to fall beyond those two days for the next week.. lol =D

i hear you, girl. i work at the airport so i know what it feels like having a different weekend than the rest of the world. my rest days are wednesdays and thursdays too. what i like about it is that there are less people in the malls those days. what i hate about it is all my friends are working those days.

Mt rest day is sunday because that is the only time that I can go to church and worship God. That is the only time then that is no class for the students and no work for the those working. We should find time also for the family to bond and to spend quality time.

Everyday is my rest day. I have been in the employment world once and do understand the stress faced as an employee. I hate the idea of having to wake up early and going back home from the office everyday. Since I was on a 8am to 4m office routine work, we naturally have saturdays and sundays as our off day. Now that I am no longer working, I am as free as the birds and have ample time to rest. I have all the time at my disposal.

i'd rather work on weekends.. we don't have most of the management staff during sat sun so i can just do whatever i want in the office without being watch. hehehe.. and our bosses during weekends are cool so we can just even talk to them and not minding much of what we're suppose to do. thank goodness i don't have kids yet so i can just pick watever day i want to.

I work 5 days a week from Mon to Fri. However, still sometimes, if I feel tired, I would certainly take rest. Last month when I did not feel like going to office, I took leave for one day and I enjoyed a lot at my room, I played video games, watched movies like I used to do after my semester exams. It was a real fun....

My favorite rest day or day off would be Friday and Saturday. Because Fridays will be for gimmicks and hanging out with friends. Party all night long. That would really make me enjoy Friday nights. And by partying or hanging out with friends then i can relax all the tensions from work. This is my favorite day off because I am still single. I feel for your part too since your children dont have school on Sundays and Saturdays that would be bonding time with your family all day long.

For me, it is best to take a rest day when it's weekends because you have time for your family as well. All of the members of the family rest at weekend. So you have bonding time with them through going out, eat out at dinner or lunch. Yeah your right! call center agents is very tough work nowadays because it changes your body clock from am to pm or vice versa.

My rest day is Sunday, but if i have one more extra day i will choose some day in the middle of the week, because there is going to feel how work week end. Otherwise in the end of the week it has more pressure.

Hi there, I used to have weekdays off during my previous call center jobs. Luckily, the last two BPOs I was with offered sat & sun thats why I guess I stayed longer there. Currently, I still have my sat & sun off & hopefully it wont be changed. I too hate weekdays off since you will be working on sat & sun. It makes me feel not too normal that you still need to get out of bed & work when everybody else is off to their weekend affairs.

Since my job is the same as yours: call center. I often have my rest day on a Saturday and Sunday too. Sunday is still a working day for me since I am the head of our Sunday School department hence when I am not assign as teacher for the day I am supervising my co teachers and assistants. Saturday is my real day off since I can oversleep or just lay back and rest in front of the TV.

Well i normally would prefer a rest day. If i have to work alot on all days sitting in front of computer i would prefer a rest on a saturday or sunday to remove all the fatigue.

hi carrine, i agree that working in call center is difficult and hope, in future time, you can find a way to have a day job to have a normal lifestlyle. as for the day off, i still like the weekends as rest days plus the bonus that we get holidays in weekdays from time to time. happy mylotting. :-)

hi carrine, The best day-off for me is after college at friday. That's my sign for sleeping. After 5 days of fighting, I could rest fully in friday, and of course saturday is my fun day, where I could forget all my work and just enjoy myself and mylotting hehehe. My weekend ends in sunday night. I have to prepare for the incoming monday. Happy mylotting...^_^
