I currently have Hard drive partitioned to 4 drives namely C,D,E and F Drive. Each drive is 9GB, totally adding up to 36GB. I want to make those 4 partition to 2 partition. That is I want to have just 2 drives name C n D drive each containing 18GB. Can some one tell me how to do it. C Drive is as NTFS D,E n F are as FAT Please explain me how to process

Use a freeware program like Partition Wizard(Home Edition). Here is the official site link: http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html After installing the program, select your first 2 drives and use the "MERGE" option to merge both the partition into a single partition. Same procedure for other 2 drives. In this process, you wont need to empty the drive as suggested in previous method. It works even if you have your data present in the drive and the data is not affected by the process. So, its a safe and easy method. But you must backup your important data as no one knows what might happen in future. So, as a precaution, a copy of data must be made before doing partitoning or merging the partition.

Thanks for ur response, but I have a question. That is. my C Drive is NTFs form and the rest of 3 drives are as FAT. When I select drives and try merging, into what form will merge to? NTFS or FAT. is there a option to select on the software?
