Google Cars-Self Drive

United States

Has anyone else taken an interest in the new self-driving cards Google is busy testing all around the state of California? The statistics are amazing if you ask me and amazing at how far we are moving with this concept of self-driving cars. I recently saw the Google Prius out on the roads and the driver is just there in case of an emergency but is not really needed. They say we are still far away from these mass-produced items but what do you think about the concept?

Science Fiction in our time. whoo hoo. I wouldn't jump right on the bandwagon, but if they are out there and proved for a while, why not?
