If given the chance to turn back time, I would like to change one of my major decisions in life. I would like to go back to my high school days particularly those days after my high school graduation when it was a high time for me to decide on what degree should I take for my college education.I would like to make up my mind and apply in the prestigious universities in our country with the course/degree that I love which is journalism. I would like to change my decision of taking up nursing and ending up wasting one precious year in college. I would readily come up with the decision to take communication arts and fight for my heart's desire and not to give in with my mother's choice. I could have graduated last March 2010 but then I was extended for one more year because I shifted from nursing to communication arts. I tried nursing due to my mother's pressure on me. I tried to love it and even become an honor student during my first few months as a nursing student. However, as days passed by, I wasn't really happy with what I was doing so I decided to shift even if I did not have any failing grades. The shift caused my extension. If I did not enroll in nursing, I could have avoided my one year extension in college. Reality bites and I know I could never turn back the past. I don't want to live with my regrets, rather I would like to reminisce that experience of mine filled with gratitude as I met lots of good friends and I learned an important lesson in life which is to follow my heart's desire driven with passion no matter what it takes. God bless!

Most if not all people have regrets in life. I too have few & would willingly do it again the right way if given the chance. But on the contrary, had I not committed those mistakes, I wouldnt be the person I am today. Since it is nearly impossible to turn back time, I will still be thankful that those regrets taught me enough to be who I am today. =)
