Never tired of telling and pursuing him to school, its your manner how you talk or suggest, Tell him that music is not your life without attaining education, tell him what if, what if, and what if. Professional musicians have need to have also a best education, because the education and music is not an option. Or give him 1 year vacant in school and find some School that provide a MWF schedule or TTHS.

Thank You Lauren, it is a great advice, and let me tell you that he is in a band and I cry all the time I see him in that uniform. And I do talk to him, and I am not alone in these, the school supports me a lot in this matter... they said that everything is depend on him. I feel so powerless as a mother.

Make him go to school or tell him to emancipate and drop out. The earlier he learns this lesson the better, even if he has to learn it the hard way. If he drops out and has to find a job and support himself and he can only come back is on your terms, he will be back in a heart beat. Even if he has a friend to live with he will get tired of that REAL quick. Being a grown up sucks and it sucks a lot more with out an education to put on a job application and if you can't convince him with words you are going to have to let him fail. The earlier you let him feel the burn, the longer he will have to heal. Just make sure you let him know you are trying to teach him a lesson and that you still love him and will always be there for him.
