Happiness is a choice!

..life is full of struggles and pains but we have the choice on what we want for our lives.. happiness is a choice and if we want to be happy, we have to choose to be happy and never get affected by all the circumstances that we face in life.. after all, there is always sunshine after the rain.. all we need is hope and faith in God.. everything will be alright in due time..

I'm with you that one day all will be straightened out. God will see to that. God is a happy God and He sees more awful things than we ever will and He still maintains his joy then so can we.

Yes. You are correct and I agree with your opinion, but, if you say happiness is a choice, for me, happiness is an obligation for all beings in this world.
All creatures in this world has the right to be happy and feel happiness. And all the creatures will feel the happiness if every creature have feeling to mutual tolerance

Hello rayne,
Seriously, i tried to make myself happy by doing the things i do in a proper and scheduled. well, there was rain here a few hours ago after days of sunny. I have been constantly praying to the lord, hopefully he would give me the strength to keep on living. I, happen to be at this stage of little immaturity or even easily down or get disappointed. i wish i could get better things in life, something that god only wants. except priesthood

..hi.. I do believe that we are free to chose what we want in life.. with regards to your father, you have to let him understand that that is your own life and you have the choice how to make it.. you have the choice to find what will make you real happy.. because even if you become a priest but you are not happy, then I believe you can't do your part as a priest..

I agree with you. There are many problems and troubles we are all facing but that should not stop us from being happy. We can always choose to be happy and put all the unhappiness aside and solve those problem one by one with confident and open mind. Having faith is really important because that is one thing that will always show us which way to go when we thought we've lost our direction and hope.

Yes, happiness is indeed a choice. We choose to be happy or sad. Many a times, we tend to allow other surrounding factors to affect our mood, even though it's not really our concern. But being humans, we have compassion and feelings. It's all right to feel sad and unhappy for a short period of time. Once that feeling is over, it's time to be happy again. We need not be that happy to the extend of laughing around, just being contented will do just as fine too.

I agree. Being happy is a choice with the help of faith! Faith in God and faith that good things still exist. We need to discard negative thoughts and try to look at the brighter side of the rainbow to appreciate life. Appreciating simple life actually makes a person at his/her happiest!
