Do you carry Protection?

This mostly concerns women but men can respond too.
I'm not talking about Birth control,I'm talking the other kind of Protection like
"Pepper spray,Maze,Pocket Knifes" or what ever fits in your purse.
My Friend gave me a Whistle the other Day cause she knows I leave my House early in the morning for work and it's pitch dark outside{ Thanks Brenda}
.
So know I just put it around my wrist till I get to the Street were it's light and more people standing at the bus stop
.
Hopefully I never have to use it and if I do I hope some one comes to help me
.

Does collapsible quilting scissors count? I do carry a pair in my purse and one of those multi-purpose tool thingamajig's but other then that nope I don't carry any type of protection at all unless you count my breath in the morning..A few years ago we bought those alarm things that when you pulled it, it set off the alarm so that if you were being hurt or attacked people would know and hopefully try to help. But the batteries ran out and I never did replace the special batteries.

Well, as a guy, I never wear a protection like knives, because people could misunderstand me as the bad guy. hehehe. A little tips : just hang out with many companies and you'll be much more safer than alone. Going out at night is quite dangerous, especially for girls. That's why bringing some wheels are important. they make your night trip safer.

I keep telling my boyfriend to walk me to the bus stop but half the time he's still asleep or not even dressed to go anywhere.
He tells me all the time that I'm to paranoid.

Everyone afraid that something might unnecessary happen. So for self protection I always carry my spays on bag and emergency number was in the first dial in my phone.Now a days I usually heard news about rapes,kidnapping,,snatching etc.and am afraid of it just to be sure and ready to depend my self. tHIS WAS FOR SECURITY PURPOSES AND SAFETINESS.

I thought about Maze or Pepper Spray myself but haven't gotten around to getting any yet.
For now the Whistle is gonna have to do, it sure is loud.
