One of our favorite Christmas traditions is for each new Christmas, we would buy a special ball to hang on the tree. The ball may have the year on it, or just something unique and special. That way each year as the decorations were placed on the tree, a special memory was also hung up and new one created. as well. Congrats on your first Christmas in the States, I do hope it is a special with many wonderful lasting memories. Here is an early Merry Christmas to you!

Welcome to America! I hope that you will enjoy your first Christmas here. Did you not celebrate Christmas where you were? Christmas is my favorite holiday and I am sure glad that we celebrate it. I decorate with a lot of snowmen as I really like them. I love Victorian look on trees too. Make your home filled with items you like and it will feel festive!

Well first welcome to the United States, I do hope you have a wonderful and enjoyable Christmas here. Now when shopping for a variety of Christmas items it is good that you shop around which it seems that you have already done, keep doing this as before Christmas there are tons of sales, also after Christmas the items go on sale for really cheap, this is the best time to buy for the following year and would be great to save it until then, stores have a ton of different things and prices to choose from, they do this to get you to buy stuff but be careful and do not make any haste movements in buying Christmas decor.

Christmas is getting closer, but don't forget about Thanksgiving! That is my favorite food holiday as I love turkey and pumpkin pie! Kind of funny we give gifts on Christmas but not Thanksgiving. Why not? We should start that tradition.
