I think people are just trying to make sure they aren't wasting their time or being scammed, as there are many huge scams out there. Others could also just be curious. But having said that, I agree that it really isn't anyone else's business what others are earning on MyLot and I also prefer not to publically broadcast what I am making here.To those who are making great money here, I offer congratulations, but I don't feel the need to SEE what that amount is.

yes - i have not seen so many discussions on this topic, but i was curious to find out if people do actually get paid. there are so many online scams that I understand why people don't want to waste their time - especially if this is one of their only sources of income. But I joined because of the discussions and making friends and community - the earnings would just be a nice little bonus for me! thanks!

There are two reasons I see for doing this.
1) They just want to start a discussion to earn.
2) They are curious about how others are doing to compare themselves to.
Actually, I, personally, believe that the question should NOT be "How much do you earn?" or "How much have you earned?" The question should be how to go about earning, how to think of a GOOD topic to start, & finding topics to reply to.

I think not so much people trying to compare. It's probably people wanting to know what's going on with others. With all of those scam paid-to sites that don't really pay & webmasters ignoring "Where's my payment?" questions, it seems to be perfectly natural to ask. They're probably trying to put it in a way without asking "Does this place REALLY pay?

You are right about this. You posted this 3 months ago, and the issue is still here. This is a lot with the people interested only in making money, and nothing else. Just don't respond to them. I hate it when I get on line, and my message box if filled with people asking me that.

I agree with you.I have seen a lot of topics about
"How much did you earn so far??" or "What was the last
payment??","How much did you make at MyLot today?!" type
questions.I know that this is not a competition and each
of us has a different life style so it would be different
between one and another.
I don't really care how many referrals I have(which I have
none..lol) and How much I've been making so far.It is very
personal issue to me,still:)

I'm interested in seeing how much other members have earned... Why? Well, I like to see the earning potential on myLot. :) There's various discussions of techniques to earn more, and people are also figuring out why they are earning less then others too. It's a win/win discussion. :)

people ask this question because they think mylot is a scam...they ask themselves where does mylot make money to give away for their memebers...nothing in life is free...
and they want the older people who have been here lonnger to tell them if this site it actually legit or not..

I think it boils down to basic human curiosity to find out how the others are doing and also the competitive streak in some of us to outdo the others.
By showing/boasting about their earnings, in a way, it helps mylot to gain publicity and credibility about their paying track record.
