You copied when you were at school?

Actually when thinking of copying I remember one incident which took place in my college days. We were having a Statistics internal test, no one had absolutely any clue of the three questions which were posed on the board, but everyone was busy writing. Suddenly, we hear a thud!! The Statistics professor rushes to the spot of the noise and he finds a open Statistics book on the ground. Immediately he seizes the book and crosses the answer sheet of the owner of the book and asks him to leave. A couple of minutes later his neighbour stands up and says "Sir I was also copying from that book and my conscience does not allow me to continue..." The professor is impressed by his honesty and asks him to continue, but the guy insists and leaves. This is followed by nearly the whole of that row standing up and owning the mistake and going out!! The professor was impressed with this moral stand by the people. Little did he know the real reason. That was the only book in that row and everyone was dependent on it and without the book, they did not know anything else to write, so came out :) I can never forget this incident!! Cheers! Ram

It's such ashame but yes I used to copy my seatmates answer during an exam. Well actually my seatmate is my bestfriend. I was too lazy during my highschool days that's why most of the time I ended up copying from a seatmate during an exam. There was also a time that I copied even my classmate's name. That's really stupid. I was thankful that he noticed that I was writing his name on my test paper. LOL. Atleast I didn't end up writing his full name. Now that I'm in college, I do study hard before exams. Thank you for the nice topic.

lol .That is funny . No unfortunately we could not do that or if some one did it they were 100% caught by our teachers as they were really smart and they could see everything.

I never copied anyone's work while I was in school. i didn't allow others to copy from me either. you don't learn anything by not doing your own work.

I never copied or cheated. To me it is disgraceful and you obviously did not learn what you needed to learn to take the test.

I must say frankly that I have been cheating in examinations. these are often subjects learn by heart.

It´s been a long time since I was at school. But I sat near friend and whispered the answers to tests. I was a good student not so much because I studied so much, but because I was used to read grownup books about different subjects since I was very little.
