Eye colors, contacts and glasses

I have brown eyes. My eyesight is still pretty good (I think LOL) so I don't wear either. Happy mylotting!

I have brown eyes and so does my wife and daughter, but my son is the odd one out. He has blue eyes. I do not wear glasses or contacts, but a friend of mine once came around to my house with contacts in her eyes that were a different colour. She looked different, but I could not work out what it was until she said that she had green contacts in instead of her usual brown eyes. It was weird. I never knew she had vision issues until then!

My eyes are hazel and I have worn glasses since I was 11. I tried contacts, but my eyes didn't tolerate them all that well. And the toric lenses (for astigmatism) are a lot more expensive than the regular lenses. One of these days, I may want to check into laser surgery, although I suspect that the astigmatism may be a problem with that.

hi maxim, i always am imagining how it is to wear contact lenses. the conventional eyeglasses makes me look older but i have been so used to it. and i hear a lot of side effects wearing contact lenses. how true, i do not know. may be i am just too cautious. have a great day ahead of you. ann

I was born with a light brown eyes and I am very content with my eye color. I do not want to wear contacts as it looks like I have a cataract in my eyes. I also do not wish to wear one since I am not that fair to wear a green, blue, gray contacts. It wont fit me and will look so.. trying hard to look like some one I am not. I am asian and it wont good to have blue eyes.

my eyes are my problem ive been nearsighted since 12years old i starting wearing glasses my grade is -3.00. during college, i discovered using disposable clear contact lens and since then i got rid of my nerd look. maybe id like to try brown soon. each pair is good for one to two months and cost around 300

Here some young girls like to buy these kinds of contact lenses. They think it is cool to change the eye colors. The contact lenses are more like a part of makeup for them. However, I don't like wearing contact lenses. I prefer to wear glasses although it may be inconvenient sometimes. But at least it is safe. I love China

I love green eyes, mine are brown with a tint of yellow from my dad whose eyes were hazel. I actually wear both glasses and contacts. I alternate because like you said, contacts dries out the eyes and wearing glasses occasionally or more often gives your eyes a breather..

Being a woman above 40 years, I have develpoed presbyopia and I so use a bifocal glass which is traditional in nature. As for your contact lens, if your eyes feel dry, you should immediately consult with an ophthalmologist because everybody cannot tolerate contact lens and the complications associated with contact lens may develop. So hurry up, consult with an ophthalmologist and act according to his advice.
