I usually take fruits as dessert but this line catches my attention. I don't know who is the author, this is just a forwarded mail from a friend... "...not eating fruits after your meals! Fruits should be eaten on an empty stomach." What can you say about this, when or how you usually eat fruits? Is this really the correct way to munch those luscious goodies? Thank you very much! ^_^

yes, its often said by experts that fruits are not to be consumed after a meal. they should be had on empty stomach or in between meals or before a meal or as evening snacks. we have a tradition of having a banana after a heavy meal for digestion, it has been followed for years together. i do not know how this theory worked out during our forefathers time. science now tells that we must have fruits separately, even mixed fruit salad is not that good. i would just listen to ur heart and body...........

Thank you very much for sharing! ^_^ hmmm..so somehow the fruits might just be wasted if you will eat them after meal, I mean there's a tendency that nutrients will not be absorbed by the body if you will consume them at the wrong time. I guess (in my case)... better to make fruit eating a hobby than just reserve them for desserts.

It is partially right. Fruits can be consumed when stomach is empty since at that time only all the vitamins can be taken by the body and get converted to energy. If we take fruits after food, then already we had consumed food for conversion to energy and adding fruits may add fat sometimes. This may cause dietary imbalance also. So consume food in between food times like morning 11 AM, evening 4 PM like that which is good for health...!
