School friends.

How many people try to find old school friends after years of not seeing them? Yesterday I saw a post on Facebook, it was a comment on a post from another high school friend of mine. So I sent a message to the person who commented, and found out that it indeed was another old friend of mine that I hadn't seen since I left high school. I was surprised that he remembered me, I wasn't sure that he would. But he did and I was happy about that. He's changed a lot since high school which I'm not surprised, but I would never recognize him if I met him today as he has changed so much. I would like to catch up on old times with all of my high school friends including him, but it's a challenge since some of them have moved away. But I've found several of my old high school friends and we're now talking to each other through Facebook, if it weren't for that site, I'd never know how to track all of them down and see what they've been up to since then.

we weren't friend’s in school but after school we had this unspoken relationship, flirting and enjoying each other’scompany, and our friend always comment on us and tease us that we like each other....

I've only been out of college for about 2 years so I can still say that I'm still close with most of my friends. Most, if not all of my high school friends are contacts in my Facebook account. I really do believe that one of the advantages of these kinds of sites is that it allows you to get in touch with the people you've lost contact with like those who've moved away or just lost contact with in the past. My friends and I actually use this for discussions as well (with the group messaging) instead of yahoogroups or something like that. Keeping in touch with old friends is really great and lets you keep updated with what's new with them through their posts, pictures, etc. Really really great invention. :)

Ya I love that facebook for finding old friends from high school. I was a late beginner on Facebook compared to other people so when I finally did get around to joining I found one friend then boom a ton after that. After a few weeks I got some plans together and went back and met a bunch of old friends from high school. It was so weird seeing them as kids the as adults in their lives.

This is one of my favourite things about facebook. I've managed to connect with a lot of friends from school and keep in touch with them now on a regular basis. I find it interesting to see what each of us has done with our lives. What I also find interesting is a lot of times we are connected to the same people, but would never have known it if it weren't for Facebook. The world really is a small place.

I did...I tried finding some close friends back in highscool in facebook as well...and then I ended up seeing other classmates back then. It was pretty cool too see how much they've changed and accomplished. Most of us have kids now.

Pretty amazing isn't it. That you have this facebook social network to catch up with your old friends you haven't seen for long time. I saw a couple of high school mates too, but I didn't actually send any comments or whatever. Since they all move away, and I have my own life, it is better keep it that way. I would send a comment or two, see if they remember me or not.

I have found a few of my public school friends through Facebook. It was really nice to catch up with and see how they are doing. It does the heart good to see the vast majority of them wonderfully happy. Unfortunately, I found we had really rown in such different directions that we have basically nothing in common any more and after catching up there wasn't much more to say. It was well worth it though, it makes me happy to know they are doing great. Have a great day!
