I am always curious as to people's responses to this question. If your answer to this question is yes then I would like to know who you think he is and how you arrived at your conclusion.

I don't believe in God. "God", and all religion, is man-made. I also find it very frustrating that even intelligent people such as Doctors can still believe in something that is so obviously and logically not real. In the famous words of the great George Carlin, "Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list, of ten things he does not want you to do! And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and anguish, where he will send you to live, and suffer, and burn, and smoke and scream and cry, forever and ever, 'til the end of time! But he loves you." He was my favourite, and I believe the best comedian ever, and I agree with his views 100%. If any of you want to see the video anyway, just type "George Carlin - Religion" on Youtube.

Still just because you dont believe there is a God you have given me nothing here to disprove his existence except that you believe there must be a logical explanation for what we call miracles;-|

That is true, I cannot prove that "God" does not exist. You can not prove that he does exist either. But to what extent must one have to go to, to prove that "God" does not exist? Any logical person who is intelligent enough to understand how societies work, and how people began believing in different religions, will agree that "God" does not exist, and that religion was formed as a way of controlling primitive people. I notice that you downranked my user reputation too. I am only trying to get my views across, and downranking my user reputation on myLot simply because you do not agree with me is not a fair thing to do. If that is what religion has taught you however, then I guess I can not blame you for growing up believing that when people do not agree with you, you are morally right to do as you please to them. That is what religion causes in the first place, does it not? More people have been killed in the name of "God" than for any other reason. In the Ten Commandments, it seems that the commandment about not killing anyone is more negotiable when other people do not agree with your religion, doesn't it?

this is usually the case for many people. just think about it, who created this earth, the universe, the resonating stars in the endless night sky. no, its none of us. this just cancels out every possible answer except God alone.

I feel there is a superior power.Without such a force it is difficult to imagine how everything in this, solar system,at least works with clock-like precision and monotonous regularity. You have Sun during the day and moon during nights,Ah,there is something powerful indeed.

Well,as to who it is,I can only say that this is why we are mere mortals.I feel the Superior Force has left us this way,so that the "mystery" remains and hence we are not lulled into having known the answer to the toughest question the Humanity has ever faced, and be left with no motivation at all.

I don't Think; I know there is a God, I have seen miracles happen when I pray and when people are anointed. Creation itself shows there has to be a creator. There was no big bang. That is like putting a pocket watch that has been totally dismantled into pieces and shaking it and expecting it to just fall right back together. Our own body is proof there is a God who made it wonderful and all the things that keep life in us. I have entertained angels which at the time I did not know they were such but after talking to others and other happenings knew they had been angels who appeared from no where. I have had visions I know were from God and God alone. If you do not believe in him that is your right and choice. It still does not diminish the existence of God and the creation, heavens, universe and how everything works together. As humans we are not as smart as we think ourselves and we become arrogant and haughty and think we know everything. We are noting. The Stars, and moon and planets all in place show something made it so. Each kind of animal, creature, plant show it. I know there is a God.

I would be interested to know where the big bang came in. That is something I have not seen proven, if it is I would like to know the information source. Thanks.

In my opinion, YES! There is a God and he is the actual owner of this whole Universe. GOD is just GOD. Him, being a GOD is His identity and what we know of him. What makes the blood move in a human being's body?; of course Heart, and what makes the heart keep pounding? any answer to this? The sun revolves around it's own circumference, earth revolves around it's own circumference as well as around the sun. Moon revolves around it's own circumference, around the earth and while revolving around the earth, it revolves around the sun as well with the earth. Why don't these things ever lose their tracks? Why can a religion explain about those phenomenons which can't be explained by science? Questions like these which have no finite or definite answer, makes me think that there sure is some being, entity or a force that keeps all the universe at it's natural balance. There IS a GOD and He makes sure that this Universe remain in balance!

Definitely there is God.But he is not meant for any particular religion or for group of people in some geographic areas. If ther is no God,I'm sure ther will be no one to save you at times of my difficulty. All that happens in my life ,God knows everytghing and I'm sure he also planned a nice remedy for it.Because "my God is a living God"....

Well I have to agree with you that god isn't meant for any particular group of people but what I'd like to know is how can you tell he exists?

This is a tough question to answer. When gorwing up as a child of course i thought there was a god and a devil but after thinking about it while getting older it was hard for me to understand and to get an answer from someone who really isnt sure is also hard. You think there is becaue its more than likely you want there to be, but in the end after you pass away thats it you dont know no better. I don't see how there is a god or devil i do get it when you say im going to he** for that because you have done something or said something bad but then you just wipe it off and keep going on your day, but thats just it there really isnt anything to hold onto or anything.

Ok I have a question have you ever tried to prove that God exists? Just for yourself. Have you ever asked him to show you who he is? Ever wonder how you heart keeps beating without a conscious thought from you?

According to my belief god does exist. But as nobody has ever seen god there are points which can be put forward to prove both the existence and non-existence of god. From centuries our ancestors have believed in the existence of god so there must be some truth in that. Cheers, Vickie

Ok Vickey, but aside from what you have received from your ancestors have you ever tried to prove the existence of God for yourself?

Hi dear, It is hard to say a one word answer to it. For ‘Yes’, has its own reason and to say ‘No’ has its own reasons. And a day of discussion won’t make happy for the yes, and no people. Our faith is based on our experience and belief and what we have taught from time to time. In certain cases we cannot even imagine about ‘no’. But certain time, it is hard to believe ‘yes’. As it is the time to close the office, I just want to log out of my pc. This will continue tomorrow…. Regards, Thank-s

Ok I can see why your answer may change according to circumstances, so I ask you do you think there is only a God when things are working in your favor? Do you ever think that maybe it's the person(maybe you) who are responsible when things are working in your favor?

Well, i don't believe that there is any god in this world. It's just respect of people towards a particular person who make that person a god. All those who ard called god were also human beings but they had done some extraordinary good things for their people thats why they were called as god. I hope you will understand. Harry, :-)

I am a Pagan so believe in multiple Gods and Goddesses. I definitely believe in them. I know them to be true because I have felt them. I see the MotherEarth as a Goddess and see her presence each and every day. I see her a spring blossom, in a storm and in an old tree, she is everywhere.

If you ask people to prove God existence in the real image -or say that He should go down to earth and say hello to everybody-, they will not be able. The same case for us the believer. Ask those unbeliever, "Can you prove that God doesn't exist? Surely they can't forever. God is a matter of faith, and it deals with heart and mind. Just think; who creates this universe? Make a list of possible creators and theories, from Alien to Darwin's. So won't get answer. The answer id GOD Himself that create universe and us. God is the only brightest thing that can make nothingness to come to happen and exist. Kuun fa ya kuun!

Ooook, Interesting but i am wondering how you arrived at your conclusion.
20 Oct 10
I believe there is a higher being who started the universe.....but I believe that due to freewill being given to the human race, neither the Devil nor God have any interaction in our daily life. For example, if you go outside in the rain you will get wet...regardless of how much you pray or are devoted. I guess therefore, its OK to believe if you get something out of it personally, but dont rant on the street corners as not everyone has had the same insight as you.

I guess then you are ssaying it's not that God cannot stop the rain, he just has no interest in doing so, huh?

It is a resounding "yes" for me. I do believe in God. I also believe in the trinity. The Father God, His son Jesus and the Holy Spirit the comforter and diviner of truth. It is something that I cannot completely explain in words but something that one has to experience to say that there is a God. He is my Savior and soon coming King. I believe also that I will be with Him in eternity. He is also not exclusive for those who believe in Him rather He is for all who wants to draw near to HIM.
