Hello. Since I am a newbie here, I'd like to know if you rate people's comments, discussions and photos. If I rate those, will it help increase your money or level? Hope to hear your response.

All we are told is that the Discussion Rating System is factored in to the earnings system. Rating is certainly a good thing to do and we are strongly encouraged to rate discussions, responses, comments and photos when they deserve it (but do read carefully what it says here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq17.aspx ) MyLot is a community and, as such, we have the opportunity to help each other earn in many ways.

What if mylotters forgot to rate comments? Others are unaware of it. How will it affect us?

Hi, beeh13u! Welcome to myLot! Rating system is related to reputation system. After you post your 100th post, you'll get a star with a number in it, and point it with your mouse, a text area will pop up and says "myLot reputation of XX/100". If you are rated positive many times, you'll get a high reputation, otherwise you'll get a low reputation. Having a hige reputation will increase the value of your post, that means you'll get more through each of your post.

I was wondering what that star was about. Who rates my discussions then? Do you rate regularly?

Hi. I guess it's much better if you read the FAQ section and also the Earnings. You can find them below this page.
