I am making pork tacos tonight. They are my favorite as well as beef. This said I know there are so many other fillings for these yummies. Everything from fish to veggies. Then there is soft shell or hard shell. Condiments. Cheese or no cheese. I think maybe I am looking for new ideas to make different flavors. We of coarse have used venison, chicken and turkey. Also is there other nationalities that have similar foods?

I like cabbage on my fish tacos. I have never had venison tacos but would love to try them. Beef or chicken is usually what I get unless we go to a Mexican restaurant and then I get pork. Sauteed onions are good also. And I think veggie tacos are really the next thing on my list.

I like fish but never get them. My hubby is severely allergic to fish especially shell fish. If I eat fish and kiss him on the cheek he gets swollen spots much like hives. Horrible. Cabbage sounds good, it's my favorite veggie!

Ground turkey is good but it is one of the meats I prefer to be un ground even in tacos!

I miss tacos. Since I've gone gluten free, tacos have been eliminated from my diet. I don't think there are gluten free taco shells. I guess I could put all the taco ingredients on a lettuce leaf and pretend that's a taco shell, but it doesn't have the same great taste.

There are many masa based shells (corn meal) out there. In fact when a friends son was diagnosed with gluten intolerance tacos where all she could get him to eat for a while.
