Do you like a quiet work place or one loud and noisy with activities?

I have always worked in a call center for a long time. I am really used working in a very noisy workplace. I just don't mind those people around me who are also talking. I have wanted to work in a place where I cannot hear other people. I have also experienced that before when I worked in semiconductors company where I was in a secluded workstation without any employee there but me. I stay there for about 8-16 hours working if I want to render an over time. I am just sharing both extremities of a workplace that is super quiet and extremely noisy.

Well I want my workplace to be quiet but not to quiet that its so quiet its deserted.

Hi Ram, I like my working place to be quite but not completely and I dont like very noisy place to work but thre should be some interactions between the colleagues and about music some times it will be good but not always.. so I prefer a moderate place to work with.. Have a nice day..

I think it depends on the line of work to be honest with you.. I mean, if I were trying to get a lot of work done on the computer or something, then I can see how having a noisy and "exciting" workplace might just become impossible to work in, or even a distraction. But in general, as for right now, I'm not in the type of job where I am sitting in a cubicle all day at work. I tghink I would prefer a more exciting, fun, workplace because it seems like it might make the time go by faster!

It depends on the moment. I prefer variety - but not so quiet, no so noisy G.

I love a quiet workplace so I can concentrate better on what I am doing. I can not think properly if there are noises around, or people talking in the office. I also hate when the phone keeps on ringing and i am in the middle of something.

I have a little bit of both! At times it can be noisy and at other times it is very quiet. I like it either way.

Hi Ram I like music in my work area and I listen to it almost everyday it helps the day go by faster and makes it more pleasant I don't like a bunch of noise but some noise is ok I like cheerful discussions its football season so at work we all talk about the football games and talk about our favorite teams we even get to wear our favorite team jersey on Sunday

Hi, ram_cv! I like quiet, extremely! I can't concentrate my spirit on my work or study in a noisy environment. I hate all noise makers. One should have social morality to keep quiet in public places.

At my job I am sometimes work with a lot of people at once or alone. As much as I like people and the social semi loud aspect, I enjoy the quiet a little bit more. Usually I end up talking to myself when I am alone haha but I enjoy working alone because I don't feel as pressured to do something quickly and not mess up. I also like not having to worry about someone seeing if I do something embarrassing or mess up. I do enjoy the kind of loud part but I like it quiet much more.
