Actually this ishappening after a long time that Australia is leaving india lossing all the amtches they played in the tour. but i would not rate this as poor team from Australia. This tour was certainly dissapointing for Australia. Aus played well in first test, It was good match to see where both teams played well and finnaly victory favoured India. IN second test also both teams played well but Indiasome how over powered Aus in that match and won the match easily in the end. The first Odi of this tour was also abandoned due to rain. The second ODI india won the match by displaying good batting. The third ODI was also called off due to rain, poor outfield, It was the poor drinage system forced to abandon the 3rd ODI. But i belive that if three ODIs have been played they would have won at least one, waht do you feel?

Yes, it has been a really poor tour for the Aussies. I think it was the worst preparation for the Ashes for them. But given the fact that the pitches in India and Australia are so different the Aussies would not be overly worried with this result. More than anything it has again raised questions about the captaincy of Ricky Ponting and also it has showed that Clarke is not good enough to lead the Aussies after Ponting. As far as the ODIs are concerned it was a farcical series with only one match played, so nothing really can be inferred to much with that. Cheers! Ram

Why do you think Clarke is unlucky? I actually think he was born with the silver spoon because he would have found it difficult to retain his spot in the Aussie teams of a decade back!! Cheers! Ram

Hi, The AUSTRALIANS are currently not having some good luck. They were very unlucky as they are not able to win at least one match in this series. This was one of the worst tournaments for the Aussies. But we should not criticize the AUSSIES on the ODI series. The two matches were abandoned due to bad drainage conditions and the stadiums were not good. But in the test series they really missed their first test match. They lost their hopes when Laxman dragged the home team to victory. There are lots of things for the AUSSIES to learn from this tournament. They should be really doing some repairs as the WORLD CUP is heading on.

Hi, It will be tough times for the Australian team now.Yeah, definitely we cannot criticize the AUSSIES for their loss in the recent series against India. But we cannot judge that AUSTRALIA won't be winning the WORLD CUP because they always have the habit if striking back with some tough players. So now they will try to regain their team strength.

ya aus is currently going through rough patches. surely we should not criticize aus on the odi tour as Rain won 2 matches and India winning 1 match. the first test was really a good one in this tour.

all credit to the Indian team for playing so well. the first test match was almost over but they came back from behind to win it and won the second test match comprehensively. same was the case in the one day international. India won it comfortably. would you even say that if there were a couple of more test matches then Australia would have won at least one test match. the thing is we do not know who would have won but Indian team looked better overall and deserved to win.

ya in first test india came back strongly and won the match. but i thought odi was a easy one for inida. and it would have been nice if rain had not spoiled the good cricketing action.

Yes, this tour for Australia seems to be of no gain. They have lost the Test series and in One dayer also, could not perform well. Now, India is becoming a great opponent to Australia. India can boast of good crickers today. But I think the system of matches washed out due to rain should change. A reserve day for a rain hit match should be planned so that good competition exists and also the spectators get their value and entertaiment. Many would have dreamt of seeing India winning against Australia.Hats off to India and best wishes for the future and think that the World Cup this time is India's.

i think BCCI dont keep reserve days, because they know the fact that the drinage facility in indian grounds is very poor. if heavy rain happens then we cant play in reserve day also.

The way test series went, I think even if they would have played 3 ODI's then India would have won 3-0. I say this because in this tour Australia have lost the match they should have won. Look at the 1st test, around 80-90 runs to get with only 2 wickets in hand, from this situation 99% bowling team wins. Australia lost that match and lost the momentum of the series. In the 1st ODI they made 289 runs batting first, still lost the game. This made the tour for Australia worst tour against India.
