Pleasant early morning walk

I got up early and decided to go for a a walk in the park. The first rays of the sun were yet to arrive. The moon almost full was high in the sky. There was a mild mist and the pathway interspersed with trees on either side was a site so pleasant that i wouldn't trade for many material objects. As i was walking i passed a small lake where there were geese and cranes swooping into the water to pick fish. The image of the moon was being reflected in the placid and serene waters of the lake.As i was finishing my walk the first rays of sun were peeking through.Have you my dear friends and fellow my lotters experienced such wonders of nature within the confines of the city you are living in?

Hi picjim! I enjoy my morning walk before the sun is up too. There may not be a lake around here but I still enjoy the quiet, peace and the cool uncontaminated air around. You are very lucky so take full advantage of the environment around you.

Hi! I envy you your vivid description of your early morning walk. I have always wanted to go on an early morning walk and in fact, my daughter and I planned to this morning. But I have this fear of walking early in the morning. I am not sure if our place is safe as I hear and read of muggings and etc. And, we don't have a place like yours here. Sigh! People here go to parking lots of malls, parks, and cemeteries to go walking or jogging. So you see why I envy you?

Hi!Thanks for your warm words of encouragement.I wish you could enjoy this beautiful atmosphere as you are showing keen interest in nature and its bounties. There are plenty of morning walkers and some who jog so we feel one with nature and people around.I once again thank you and wish you could enjoy such an atmosphere near your hometown.

Wow, that sounded like the beginning of a novel, LOL. To answer your question, unfortunately no, I live in a big city and hardly experience such tranquility, but hopefully one day I'll move somewhere nice and peaceful. Lucky you.

Thanks for the response. The city where i live in is fairly big.But luckily for me this beautiful park is close by and on a pleasant day like this made me mesmerized as the nature had opened her heart out and all we had to do was enjoy the surrounds.I really feel thankful for all who have designed this beautiful place in the midst of the city.Hope you have a great day.
