Who needs Rooney anyway?

Stoke City 1 - Chicharito 2... Who needs Rooney anyway? MU have two young guns Chicharito and Macheda, dont they more than enough to take Rooney place? Do you think MU still need Rooney?

I think it is still too early to reach that conclusion. I think this was probably the best match for Javier Hernandez. He also seems to be improving with every match, but this was just Blackburn and his really big tests will come against bigger teams and in the Champions League. I am sure that Sir Alex would not have signed a 5 year contract with him if he was not needed. Cheers! Ram

I think sir alex signed 5 years contract for rooney just to increase rooney's price..

i think every clubs still want rooney.. no doubt that rooney is one of the best even mourinho needs rooney if MU wanna sell and sir alex ferguson off course dont sell easily of rooney

Well, Rooney finally decided to stay at Old Trafford, and he apologized to Fergie, his teammates and fans. Let`s see what is going to happen next. But I have to agree that Chicharito is so damn great!!
