What is your preference of food habits?

Hi friends, There is saying like this.. "Breakfast Should be like Kings Meal, Lunch should be like an average person's meal and Dinner should be like a poor person's meal" Have you ever heard of this? it means that we should have more food in the morning which has all the contents in it and helps us to do our work entire day.. Lunch should be of the content which has some less contents compared to breakfast and dinner should have even less.. What do you think on this? is it working for you to keep good health? Please share..

Hi Chaitra! I follow the principles mentioned by you and I try to take light dinner. While having my breakfast, I prefer medium or heavy as normally I do not take tea etc. before taking lunch (specially in my office). Have a great day!

Hi Deepak.. Very nice of you that you follow this habbit.. Its very helpful for you I think.. but unfortunately I cant follow this always.. my breakfast will be very less and Dinner will be heavy some times..

Hi chaitra.. i have not heard this ever. Be sure i am not too much conscious to my health or what is on the menu. Just need to get out from hunger. okay, no more food. Actually i am a mobile person and most often i missed my routine, so now i have no routine anymore. take care and be healthy.

Hi chaitra, I am doing the same in descending order dear. Thank GOD I am not skipping my breakfast anymore. At dinner time I can sit and eat peacefully. I heard the slogans many time earlier and I know why it has said. But what to do my situation should also favour to me to follow that. I am much hungry at evening but there is no time to eat then.

I think there is some truth to what is disclosed by you, but if the custom in my country, if eat in the morning should little for doing the work is not disrupted by the sleep, the daytime just like in the morning meal should be a little hot during the day because of weather so that the eyes do not experience drowsiness, even at night have a lot to eat because after a night meal in my country usually go to sleep

Hi friend.. It doesnt mean that more means in quantity.. I mean to say the calorie required is more for day time activity rather than night times.. I liked your response.. and one more thing in all the countries people usually go to sleep after a night meal LOL..

Hi,i know and have heared about this but this does not work for me. I wanted to have eating habbits like this but my metabolism can not afford to make it.I mean i have different eating habbits from all other people. When i wake up in the morning .i can not eat big meal even im very hungry.When the food is right and delicious i can eat more but not big meal.The usual habbit i do every breakfast is just coffee and soup,or noddles,if not i eat bread or sandwhich. Sometimes if very hungry i eat rice meal but cant eat more just enough for my smal stomach. At lunch and dinner that is the time i can eat more and more because the rest of the day i am often hungry and need to eat most of the time. I even eat midnight meal or snck before sleeping as i cant sleep if im hungry.

hello, friend. i dont have my special preference for my food habits. but i often eat or drink nothing for my breakfast . that mean i dont have my breakfast . so i just have two meals one day . idont know why ,but i dont have any food liking . maybe this is the reason why i am so thin . that's will be better for losing weight .lol

Yes, I have heard the similar saying. It is very funny to say that eating dinner like a beggar. Namely you shouldn't eat a lot at night. However, I can't follow this rule because I don't have enough long time to prepare and enjoy my breakfast. And therefore usually I will eat more at night with my family because it is the family time. I love China

Hi youless.. Yes the saying seems funny but the fact in that saying is right but unfortunately many of us cant follow that saying due to our work pressure or the life style we live..

Hi hushi.. I think you are very much calorie conscious?? We should take balanced food to keep ourself fit and healthy.. but sometimes due to lack of time or work pressure we missout taking proper food at breakfast indeed which imbalances the entire days diet..
