Do you think buying of second hand items or pre-loved items is practicality? Or you prefer buying brand new items and with signature items? For me, I prefer buying pre-loved items for practicality wise. I don't mind if it's second hand or pre-loved items as long as the quality and appearance is still good. How about you guys, do you buy pre-loved items or will stick to brand new items?

Well, I have bought some second hand items before and, one should really be careful on those that they deal and do transactions online. You should just be careful on choosing the item that you want since, knowing that it has already been owned, the condition should still be good enough for another user. That's mostly the case when it comes to gadgets likes cellphones or portable devices. Buyers who are already familiar with such details and defects but, still prefer the item being sold, would mention such things to mark down the price. When it comes to clothes, be it branded or an imitation, one should just still check if it can still last longer than how long you want to use them. At any rate, yeah, I do buy second hand items. As long as they can still be used and still look good enough.

I agree with your opinion ratyz, I know that online transactions are dangerous. Some are scammers and some are not. Just make sure that Sellers have positive feedbacks and don't buy items to the sellers that have negative feedbacks.

Well, if the negative feedbacks are higher than the positive feedbacks that a particular seller has, it is indeed a bit risky to do transactions with them. Then again, if its just minimal, I guess you have to check more on what kind of item was sold to get that negative feedback. Perhaps, it was a shirt but, the seller happens to be more better on selling gadgets. Those kinds of possibilities. Yeah, scammers would still take their chances on those who aren't aware on the things buyers should be careful of. That's why its good to have a third party in the deal to manage the transaction. Of course, there are still some good stories about those who just post their items online but, make the deal offline. I think I did that before and it went well, I bought a PSP that time. Still, we just have to be very careful. Funny that I didn't get any email notifications that you have already responded to my post on this discussion.. Hmmmmm....

hi liza21! I prefer to buy second hand items but I make sure to double check for quality, appearance and durability. I have had good bargains from buying 2nd hand items on ebay and sulit.com. Likewise, I have sold good quality second hand items which I know I can do without but still will be a good buy for other people.

I am always buying a second hand item or two. They are very practical and a lot of times you can find used things that look like new. New items are fun to have, but second hand ones can be that way too.

Yes I do. I'm a sucker for vintage clothing or clothes from flea markets and rummage 2nd hand items. Majority of my clothes now are vintage or second hand, even my office clothes. Aside from the good deal I get for buying it really cheap, I sometimes stumble upon branded clothes. What I like about it also is that it is very rare to run into a stranger wearing the same clothes because it cannot be found in any department store or the malls. Unique, one of a kind -- that's what I like about second hard or vintage clothes.

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. my wife buys second hand or pre-loved items but on items that she knows will be at great use. and she also buy items that are not abused. she bought a nine west prelove bag on ebay, she also bought pre-love cross stitch patterns on the net. and she was very satisfied. she bought one time a dvd of pocoyo, our son loves pocoyo but was not satisfied with it. i go for cheap but brand new items. if it is expensive then i wont buy.

I do not mind second had items,as most of them look really new and are in new condition.I like to buy second hand things as they are alot cheaper to buy and you get more for your money.I think that there are alot of people that waste their money on buying new things all of the time.

If i can afford them i'll buy new items. But if it isn't possible i'll follow your method buy good condition used goods.I prefer a brand mainly because if there is a fault we can return and are assured of good service. If we buy pre-loved items we have to be doubly sure of its reliability and quality.

It depends on how expensive the item is. If it's a rolex then i wouldn't mind buying a second hand. If it's just a face towel or something, i wouldn't mind buying a bench branded one.

Yeah, sure. I do from time to time, but I check that it is something in good condition and I also prefer brands that I already know are of very good quality so they don't go bad quickly. I have gotten some great bargains this way, so I really recommend it! Also, it is a great way to create a unique look, when you mix vintage and second hand items with modern stuff, I love it!

For me it depends on what kind of stuff I'm buying, I guess, but buying second hand things is really nice (providing that said things are in good condition, of course) too! I haven't bought that many things that are second hand so far (but, for example, I got a very nice shirt for only 1.5€!), but I'll definitely keep an eye out for them from now on, since nowadays with all the economy problems it's always good to be able to buy things at cheaper prices.

Yes i do buy second hand items. Mostly clothes though. I go to the thrift store and get practically brand new clothes for my children and my self. I save a ton of money that way, and its practical. I grew up going to yard sales and things of that sort, so it doesn't bother me.
