Which tonal character of Eric do you like; from SG or from the Strat?

Eric pioneered the "woman tone" with the SG in the 60's, but he is also one of the best Strat players out there. Either way, his style is very much recognizable. Anyway, what do you prefer; Eric on SG or Eric on Strat? Honestly, it's hard for me to choose. :)

Definitely Eric on a strat! ...but I guess I'm just being biased since I really love the Strat. :p I just love the tone of the thing.

Depends on what era you like listening. For Cream, the Gibson sound is the signature, he used ES-335, Les Paul and the SG but for his solo 70's to present, the Strat wins. For me, he can switch from sound to sound from guitar to guitar because he is the sound and not the equipment he is using. His Stratocasters has Gibson sound emulation because of the midboost circuit. Eric is Eric no matter what. Peace and Love!
