I'm starting to create and articles for my blog next year but I'm still hesitated if I will push this through. I'm planning to have a blog next year and right now I'm thinking how can I monetize my blog. I really have don't have any ideas how to do it but I appreciate any help. Is monetizing blog really a myth? Are there any ways to monetize blog as hype in the internet?

If you enjoy making videos about things that you write about in your blog, sign up for Blip.TV and then embed the videos with your blog article, you'll get money from video reviews and the blog I have on Word Press is just a video blog and I get extra money just by embedding the video on my blog posts.

my advice to you is not to delay your plan of starting a blog. you should create now if you really want to. there is no perfect timing for creating a blog. everyday is an opportunity to create one because there are millions of readers out there who can know your ideas and opinions on things. yes, there is money in blogging. i have started last year, and slowly building my blogs. i am expecting to reach a payout end of this year because i am almost there. i need to create more articles.

One thing you should ask before you even create a blog is can you stay focused. One of the challenges of a personal blog is attracting fans to read your blog regularly. If you blog is too general or diversified that you are unlikely to attract core followers. Just like in any other business, 70% of the sales come from 30% of the customers. Regular followers are the key to success. Next thing to ask yourself is can you contribute to this blog of yours on a regular basis - daily, weekly, or monthly. The surest way to lose your customer is not to have regular updates. If the fan/follower comes a few times and keep seeing the same content, they may never return. So if the two answers above are yes then start your own blog. If not then you should join other sites like Triond, Bukisa or Wikinut. I wrote a article on this previously: http://writinghood.com/online-writing/triond-vs-redgage-vs-own-blog/ I have also written some other articles on marketing your writing if you are interested.
