How much of vacation time do you get at your job?

For us we get a standard of 22 days of leave every year. We can carry forward upto 45 days of leave to subsequent years, but after that the leaves will start to lapse. So what is the deal at your job? Cheers! Ram

hello ram-cv, Since I been at my day job for roughly 12 years I am 4 weeks vaccation. At my second job 3 nights a week which I am been promoted and start it next week I get like 1 full week vaccation and 3 sick days. If we do not use our sick at either job we loose them and do not carry over to next year. Thanks and have a great day Sincerley Unique16

Hello, now i am retired after teaching in colleges for more than 44 years, we had 15 days of casual leave, this will lapse if one does not avail it, we had 33 days of earned leave per year too, this one may take, may not take, it will keep accumulating to maximum 240 days, besides there were halfpay leaves on medical ground.. Thank you so much for this discussion. Professor. . Cheers have a great day ahead. God bless you. Welcome always.

Wow that's great! Having 22 days vacation leave every year is one of the most salivating part of an employee. In my work, we have 15 days only every year and is convertible to cash if unused.

Unfortunately for us it is not convertible to cash. So the work-a-holics among us also usually take those 22 days of leave. :) Cheers! Ram
