Well glad that your disagreements have not come to a heated spat.
Politics can become very ruthless at times.

mmh in reality not...seldom i talk with somebody about politics or these kind f issues especially in family!!In reality i am not a person that cna be defined politic added so it is not a topic of conversation here..probably bbecause the majority of people are really unbeliever towards politics and so they seldom waste time to speak about these issues...

i live in Italy.Yes in reality people here may eb take consciusness that politics in genral can't solve real problems in society and probably it is just an instrument for influent people but not for normal one!!In the past there was a great passion abbout politics and parties, ideologies and something like that..but know i think there are much more disaffection towards politics and politicians coming from different aereas or parties as well!

I don't talk politics very often with my family, my dad's the type of person who likes to find holes with what's suggested and generally doesn't have a side which can be very annoying. I know that some family members tend to get heated, especially my brother and his wife as they feel that certain new policies over here will greatly effect them and so it starts a big awkward debate but generally things can be discussed smoothly when we.
Like I said though, we tend to discuss the weather more.. LOL

Common sense is really the pivotal tool when deciding
to talk politics or not.. I know some people in my family think
they are the authority on everything which includes politics.
When I talk to someone and feel they are aiming for an
argument I try to make an exit;)

I don't argue politics with any member of my family. We never see eye to eye on the ssame topics here. it would just be an argument waiting to happeen with them.

If the issue is about politics there are most of the times that I loose my patience arguing with same thing over and over again about politics. Criticizing is what I hate most when we talk about politics it feels like the one who criticize about politics have a better solutions to make the government run as it wouldn't have any problems.
