These days mobile phones have almost replaced computers. They come with tons of applications which make life very simple. I am sure many of you accept that too. My friends used to do lots of browsing in the mobile and with 3G in my place people are slowly moving towards that as it is really faster. I do use my mobile for browsing too but no frequently. I always feel my laptop is more comfortable than the mobile in browsing the net. If you buy a good mobile like iPhone then we need to surely use all the features of it. Share your thoughts on your experience of browsing the net in your mobile.

I've browsed the internet with my mobile phone a couple of times, but to be honest I didn't find it that practical... I prefer using my computer instead, it's much more comfortable. And then again, I don't really need to use the internet when I'm outside anyway, so to speak :)

Right, mobile internet is only for those who wish to stay connected to their onine world 24 hours. Very few people have this need till now. Out of 100 people using this feature 90 people are doing it for show and style and not for need or requirement. So, it will take more time for people to always want to stay connected. I know people from my office who are 24 hours online in Gtalk, it is through their mobile internet. I don't understand who is there to chat with them 24 X 7

I have tried mylot from my smart phone using the internet but I must say it is not very convenient to type long posts unless you make short posts of 2-3 lines.

No, I find that my mobile phone screen is far too small to browse the internet although I have looked at one or two pages once or twice, but had to put on my eye-glasses to be able to see and then it wasn't that easier. Maybe one day I will get a blackberry or similar, but for the time being I much rather look at the Internet from my 22 inch monitor on my computer. _Derek

I do not have internet service on my phone. I have a laptop that I can take with me if I want to be able to access the internet away from home, so I have no need to pay for internet service on my cell phone.

Sure, that's what I bought my iPhone for. There are somethings you can't do on an internet enabled phone like change settings and such through an app but I've found a way to make the phone my own little computer. I think its great to have a phone that lets you do all the stuff you need to do because we are a world of convenience.

I had a cell for a month and because my granddaughter used too many of the minutes I gave it back. I would love to be able to use something like this and then get a cheaper computer. I write and so I am typing constantly and publishing to different sites. If this would work for me I would sure look into a iphone or something like it.

When I tried using my mobile phone to browse the internet, aside from having such a slow process of loading pages, it consumes to much phone credit. Its not really advisable to use that kind of service unless, you have a lot of money to spend. However, if your mobile phone has Wi-Fi, then that wouldn't be too much of a worry. The next thing that I'd have to worry would be screen display which is really important to me. That's why I think computers are better off on that regard. Typing is also another thing for me to consider. Can't really type fast when I use an alphanumeric keypad like that of phones. I would rather choose a computer with a keyboard than that of a mobile phone. In the end, its all a matter of choice, whichever we are convenient with.

I am not the greatest when it comes to computers or cellphones. My typing is way better than my texting. I have always wanted a Blackberry. Since the very first ones came out. THey were huge but I wanted it. Could never afford it. Well for my birthday this year My honey bought me the Blackberry Curve for Boost Mobile. I love it. The gentlemen explained to us that he actually shut off the internet in house because he can use it just as well on the Blackberry. I dont browse internet too much but I do check and reply to my emails. dl

i do browse on the internet with my cellphone, however, I don't do it all that much. I basically do it when I am charging up the phone, as it won't eat up the battery since I am charging it anyway. My cell phone has a fast processor which is a 1gigahertz which to me is fast for a cell phone. It has lots of features that I like and I have already used some of them, however, not all of them. It looks like an iphone with all the apps, and that is another reason I bought it as well. I can download free apps as well as ones I pay for. My cel phone is a Samsung Fascinate which is a Galaxy S phone, and to me it is the best phone I have ever had. Take care, and have a good day.

Even I have my compact notebook, I still sometimes browse the internet with my mobile phone. Yeah, I admit that case is seldom, just for checking important things like email or stock index. But I'm not really comfortable browsing with mobile phone environment, it's too small on screen, so we must scroll the page often just to see the whole complete page. So, basically I agree with you, about mobiling online we still better use compact notebook than a mobile phone.

Yup, I browse internet on my phone too. I'm using HTC Touchpro. If you compare to browsing on notebook, definitely notebook would be better. But I dont think you will carry your noteboook around anytime. But mobile phone is always in my pocket no matter where I am. When I'm looking for places, information on the go, surfing on mobile phone is the best solution I have. I can have always any information on hand.

I like to access net through my cell phone, but I usually use my pc for this purpose. When some time there is some problem then I connect cell phone with laptop to use net, but it is very expensive than usual....

yes naturally pc is much more comfortable to surf the web but if you are on the go and you want a quick acess to the net surfing on your mobile phone is a good compromise in general..so i surf sometimes...when my pc is not available as well.

You see since i have a blackberry phone i am addicted to the internet with my blackberry. I am always on it. It can never miss me. I love it. Too bad i cant go on it now though because my phone service is down at the moment. But as soon as i feel to spend my hard saving money on it, is the time i will start to use it on my phone. Meanwhile i will just stick to the internet on my computer. That's cheaper to me anyway.

As far as I am concerned, I think I do love Internet so much in my life. If there is no computer nearby, I think I will just pick up my mobile phone to enjoy a good life on the mobile phone Internet.Though the speed is so slow and can not load the so big site online. But it does help me a lot in enjoying life on the Internet.Have a nice day with you mobile phone.

Usually,i don't use my mobile phone to browse internet websites. There are many reasons, one reason is the speed is too slow,i need long time to reach the internet website.Another reason is that i should spend much money on the mobile phone. It will spend much more money than computer.

I don't use my mobile phone too much for internet browsing. Primary reason is, it costs more, telcos charge per kbps. But if ever there's a free wifi zone like in the mall, I use it only when I urgently need to check out something or when I'm bored like waiting in line. I don't find it too comfortable surfing the net with my mobile phone. The screen is too small and kinda find it hard navigating.
