Is your partner hands-on?

Most dads I know aren't very hands-on when it comes to taking care of their babies. Usually they just sleep at night and complain when the baby cries. It takes a lot of pleading and convincing before they change the diaper. Luckily, my husband is very hands-on. He volunteers to feed the baby and put her to sleep. He washes the baby bottles and recently learned how to change the diaper. He plays with her whenever she's awake. He usually wakes up when our daughter cries at night. I'm a lucky wife and my baby is a lucky daughter. How about your husband or baby daddy? Daddies, or you hands on? If not, why?

This can come quite natural to some while others find it to be a chore. My hats off to any father who takes pride in being a great father. I live with my boyfriend and his daughter lives in England. She visits here twice a year and he is such a great daddy. He takes care of her just as if he was the mommy. I am very proud of him as he goes all out of his way and this he has been doing since she was born, from what I have been told.

My late husband was always a hands on father., There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his children. He was like that in everything he did.

I'm sure your kids miss him dearly. You've been blessed with a great husband. Bless his soul.
