affiliate Martketing

I keep hearing about affiliate marketing and gaining referrals to different sites as a "real" way to make money. And being able to do so with out begging friends and family to join or having people thinking that you are being took by some scam... What are some ways that you guys have found to get referrals and anyone had any luck with affiliate marketing?

I have make the way to get referral in Triond and Hubpages.But I forget the link, I also have a plan to add it on Squidoo and my blog.
The simplest and easiest ways to get referral.I have done it since last year but I never realize it until last month.
I have make around 80 plus of referral on auto pilot.Just doing a simple and easy ways.

Affiliate marketing is a good way of making money online. It's not about getting referrals it's about promoting other peoples products and getting a commission. I have a product in my profile called one week marketing that really helped me to get going in affiliate marketing.
I use Squidoo and HubPages to to market the products I choose and then promote those pages. My first full project makes money just about every week.
