Should i feel guilty?

October 30, 2010 11:42am CST
I got my 11month old daughters ears done and people have had alot to say about it. She is an absoloute angel, she hardly cried when having her injections and doesnt cry when she falls over. I new she would handle getting her ears done very well, and she did but when i added pictures to my facebook people didnt seem to impressed, should i care what they think?

You should not feel guilty for this. She will come to thank you for doing it some day. Some things are just worth the sacrifice, no matter how painful they may seem.

I don't think you should feel guilty at all. I had my ears pierced when I was a baby. My mom had the pediatrician do it, and according to a lot of my friends who had theirs done when they were pre-teens, I was very lucky. One girl said she was in so much pain that she only could do one ear and waited until the next year to get her other ear pierced. In fact, I recommend getting baby's ears done when they are little because it hurts so much more when you are older.
