Do you have back pain after continuous sitting for a long time infront of the computer? Please suggest ways to avoid this. I have tried many exercises and other treatments. Neck pain has also started. Inspite of having Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for many sessions after MRI scanning I am still having back pain. The MRI scan results showed a slip disc.

oh yes I do have experience that when I sit for hours continuously before pc..but now a days regulated my pc hours so I do not site long hours and splitted my working time...and when you have that slip disc which my husband is also having which is a life long problem..and need much care it is time for you to shorten your pc hours and sitting hours...sorry to say regular exercises will decrease the pain but still the problem will be there you have to wear belts while out regulising motorcycle riding...follow the prescriptions..yoga will help but not fully.

yes I am saying this because my husband tried so many kinds of medication but nothing helps in getting full relief only temporary relief, and now he follows a routine about foods..walking sitting etc, wears a belt when out,can not sit in the floor, but still is active with the exercises and medicines taking regularly,he also does some yoga.I hope you get a solution for your pain quickly..god bless you.

You are absolutely right. This is a life long problem -from practical experience I also agree with u the same. Only thing you can do is to alleviate the problem to some extent by correct postures, exercises and our working habits.

Yoga really helps! Have you tried that? There is also a great video on Youtube with some yoga exercises for the neck and shoulders that really helped me. And get massages on a regular basis if possible...

Wow, I also have back pain especially in the lower part. I haven't had any checkups because I am afraid of hearing about slipped disc but I try exercising but the pain is still there. sometimes an hour of massaging and also hot compress help. You may want to try it. By the way, what caused your slipped disk?

Is that so? I was 6 months pregnant when i fell down on my back. Could it be the reason of my back pain, too? Anyway, I hope we will get our backs strong soon and the pain would just go away. Let's do some online searching to find out more.
