I haven't been here for long, I think there are 5 months or so. But I noticed that the last day of the month was usually a feast for those who like to respond to discussions instead of starting new topics 
. Everybody tried to reach the payout limit in the last day of the month, and there were plenty of new discussions to respond to.
But what have happened today? 
Where are those many new discussions that I've expected? Why there weren't as many discussion as there were in other last days of the month?
Don't you feel it has been too much silence today?

Oh, yes, it was Haloween! I totally forgot that, even if al the TV chanels are talking about it.
Haloween is a holiday we don't celebrate here, in my country. Yet, there are a few enthusiastic people who give a Haloween party with scary costumes. But we didn't celebrate Haloween during the communist period (that was 21 years ago) and we don't celebrate it nowadays either.

One reason maybe some are busy attending halloween parties.Others went to their hometown because of the long weekend and also to pay respect to their departed members of the family.I didn't notice though that discussions and comments usually increases during last week or days of the month.

Now that everybody said Halloween must be the reason, I understand. Everybody was bussy to prepare the costumes for the scary party.
Visits to their hometown can be another reason why myLot was quite silent yesterday. To my ashame, I didn't go to visit my parents this weekend, I visited them last week and I'll be there the next weekend, too.
You're not the only one who haven't noticed the increase in the number of new discussions started in the last day of the month. Just watch it the next 30th of November, and see if I'm right.

I could not really answer you accurately as i am in my handset right now and i dont know if all my friends are here, but honestly i am enjoying today as i am wandering here in the mylot village and fortunately i got several nice topic to reply... Well my reason for today that i got the time to respond than make my own topic is that i want you all to know that i am back, i was absent here for 10 days and i started 2 topics and it seemed very silent there and my B is still sleeping this time, and i got only 1 day unlimited browsing and i will expire couple of hours from... Oh yes, i appreciate you for being observant, i never observe like that you know, i just started topics and enjoy or respond to others, thats all. I am just to busy to observe though. Thanks for the topics and happy holiday.

I wouldn't observe it either if the last day of the month wasn't my hot day at work. Usually, if the last day of the month is a working day, I have to stay at work until in the late evening, sometimes I leave the office after 10pm.
That's why I noticed how many discussions were started. I saw them but, because I was bussy at work, I wasn't able to respond to them in time.
I was hoping to see the same flood of new discussions yesterday, but, surprise! Everybody was preparing themselves for the Haloween parties.

That's funny, I've noticed the opposite. Usually a lot of people try and create as many discussions as they can. I haven't so much noticed that people try to respond to a lot of discussions. Maybe because I really only notice if they respond to mine. :D

I've just read that you had two hot discussions yesterday.
I had noticed the same thing - everybody seems to have a lot of topics to start in the last day of the month. I can't do the same because I'm a lousy discussion starter and I prefer to respond to others discussions. I can't remember if I commented to any of your topics, maybe we don't have the same interests, or maybe we are not friends (yet). Or are we?

I guess there are still lot of discussions despite the halloween some has less of interests otherwise we can't relate with, hehe. Anyway, I am also in dire need to catch up to reach payout today, I hope I would be able to reach the deadline tonight. Gosh, I wish something can be done to stretch it. Happy Halloween !

I hope you managed to reach the payout last night. (I'm quite confused because of the time zone, how it's 1.00 in the afternoon here...)
You may be right, I don't have too many interests in my list of interests, but I tried to keep only the ones where I can say something. But I had the same few interests last month, too. And during the last day of September I felt like a flood of new discussions. That's why I wondered what happened yesterday.

I didn't realize that at all! Is that true? Oh shoot, today's the last day of the month isn't it?! LOL. I usually start about a bagillion discussions, but I have no motivation to do so today. Ugh. I mean, it's better that we respond to discussions if we're too lazy to keep up with them, or have no original ideas to post.
By the way, I think I'm going to go start some discussions now that you said that..I have to think of some ideas first. LOL

Though I like to comment back the responses I get into my discussions, but I really have no ideas what could be interesting for the other myLotters. I started a few discussions, but too few of them were successfull, so I better respond to others discussions.
Yet, when something really bothers me (like this topic), I start a new discussion. But this happens only once in a while.

I have been here nearly 4 years. This happens near the end of the month almost every month. It's just a roller coaster. Some may have thought about trying to reach payout.

That's exactly what I've noticed. There are some users who think that they can reach payout in the last day of the month.
But this didn't happen in the last day of Octomber. Everybody said it happened this way because most of the users celebrated the Halloween.
We'll see it next week if it really was the Halloween to blame.

Many things happened today. I've been very busy. I spent % hours sleeping for siesta, 3 hours of watching my favourite cartoons, minutes of sitting, minutes of standing, and the remaining hours are for eating. Wew! I've been very busy o'right.

I wasnt here on this site on that day but now a day i still think ther must come mre people to this very great site but every 15min start ther a new discussion that is just cool and normal i think. I hope ther come fast more people because they have ather ideas about much things!

Thank you for your wish, I reached my payout for the 15th of December, I'll receive a nice gift from myLot on my birthday.
In a normal day, there are a lot of discussions to respond to, but for the last day of the month, I would have expected more discussions, even more than one in 15 minutes.
